Backyard Burgers

This place is usually hit or miss for me but it’s close to work so I visit here often. If you go inside, usually the service is a little better. But I’m with Jeremy, the other reviewer, the drive-​thru folks aren’t the nicest. As far as fast food chains go, it’s a little better than the rest BUT you’re going to pay the difference.

Awful. Fast food wasn’t fast. I went through the drive through and it took forever. Once it was time for me to get my food, the employee hands me two straws (no drinks). Then, she hands me my food. I asked her where my drinks were, and she states that she’d already given them to me. I advised her that she had not. Then the lady proceeds to explain to me that she would not have given me straws without my drinks. She had the audacity to ask me if I hid the drinks in my vehicle. I specifically ordered sweet tea and lemonade mixed. I asked her what drink was on the counter beside her. And wouldn’t you know, it was my drink. She then looks at me, obviously embarrassed, and hands me my drink. Then she makes the other «missing» drink. I could not believe this lady accused me of hiding a drink in my vehicle. I will never return to this restaurant or purchase anything from backyard burger ever again. Customer service is dead.
