This outlet store definitely started off on the wrong foot for most people — they held a line outside because it was too crowded. I guess this is a pretty normal thing for outlet purse stores, but still pretty lame.
Then when my mom and I finally made it inside, the staff (excluding the one member) were pushy and rude. This girl pushed through my mom and I and didn’t even say excuse me. At first I thought it was another customer but I was very surprised to see that it was a Kate Spade salesperson.
Yet, can’t beat the outlet deals — my mom got a purse and I got a small cross body bag. They had 60% off deals, plus I got 15% off for a student discount (bring your ID cards, gals!). Luckily, I was wearing my college sweater and there was once nice staff member that rung me up.
All was dandy, until I walked out the door and realized he had charged me $ 20 more than the price tag read, so I had to put my butt back in line to get my price adjusted (they still made me wait outside the store). They didn’t hassle me for the adjustment, but they sure as heck made me wait.
All in all, loved my purse but did not like the experience!
