I feel bad leaving only three stars but some of our food wasn’t very good and we didn’t eat it. Then the girl ashes us how everything was and we talked about the bad food. Why did she ask because it was very clear she didn’t care. On top of that w rechecked our food at the same time we recurred our appetizer and then our salads came out. I think this place needs a bee manager and help with the cart that is currently in front of the horse.

For being at this location awhile, their restaurant looked brand new. It was very clean; the bathrooms too. Food tasted great, nice and hot. The staff was polite and friendly.

There’s two Denny’s at the Lenwood exit off of I15. The new one on the north side(Fisher Blvd). And, the old one on the south side(Lenwood). This review is for the old Denny’s. I usually get the French Toast. But, they seem to cook it on the same griddle that they cook al of the other greasy food that they serve. We’ve stopped going here after I got the trots. The bathrooms were pretty bad. So, we go to the new one on Fisher now. The French Toast there isn’t greasy. And, the bathrooms are clean.

The bf wanted steak and eggs so we got some steak and eggs. It was good, but what I love most was our server Theo. She was so sweet and genuine. Over all service and food was pleasant.

This is by far the best Denny’s experience I’ve had. We were put on the waiting list when we got in but were seated in about 3 minutes. Our server, Stephanie, was superb. I’m a vegan so I ordered the build-your-own-burger with a veggie patty. It already comes with lettuce, tomato, and red onion. I added BBQ sauce and avocado($ 1 extra for avocado). The burger was surprisingly tasty. Good job, Denny’s!

Adequate. Just adequate. Ordered a skillet breakfast with over easy eggs and rec I thoroughly cooked egg and one medium. Our server apologized and took the skillet back. Brought back better eggs but the cook must have put the skillet in a HOT Warner while cooking the eggs because the bottom of the potatoes were burnt. Good thing they had sauce!

Great food! Quick services. Better than our Denny’s at home. The kids(12 and 9 years old) thought that it was the best Denny’s ever! I think that all Denny’s should be like this one instead of rolling the dice!

We stopped at Denny’s and was pleasantly surprised at the atmosphere and how very nice it looked. The waitress and the manager, Darby, were great. The food was the best I have had at a diner. We throughly enjoyed ourselves and the prices were great. Thank you, Denny’s for such a nice experience. The employees were very happy snd made us happy, too.

We always stop at Denny’s for breakfast when we drive thru Lenwood… today our meal was exceptional. The food was cooked just the way we asked and our server, Stephanie, gave us excellent service with a smile. Restaurant and bathrooms were clean. Just had to post such a good experience :-)

I’ve been to this Denny’s about 3 or 4 times in the past 2 years while on my way to Vegas and I highly recommend it for a quick bite. I usually order a fit slam for about $ 8 and it gets the job done. The food comes out somewhat fast and it’s fresh and tastes great. The service is decent and it’s simply just a great place to get in and get out. Usually it takes about 25 — 30 minutes to order and eat your food and get the bill. Overall I like this place so far for breakfast and glad it’s just right off the freeway making your traveling just a tad easier. Thanks Denny’s!!!

I stopped here on the way to Vegas. It was a late breakfast so there wasn’t any wait for a table. The pumpkin pancakes didn’t taste like much. The waitress kept it short and ran around the restaurant. I guess it’s just like any other Denny’s?

I love this Denny’s: the night staff is friendly and make you feel right at home. They always fill up your drinks when they notice you’re low, and will chat with you if it isn’t too busy. Food wise, it’s what you come to expect from Denny’s. I usually just come in for a shake or ice cream which always taste good. If I ever feel hungry I just get a sampler which are also as good as you could expect from Denny’s.

If you like cockroaches, it’s a great place. Been going for over 10 years on my trips to Vegas, it’s always been our stop. Yesterday like every other time, we ordered coffee and food, coffee came, then I happened to look down to pick up my phone and saw a cockroach starting to walk on my thigh. The most disgusting thing to see in a restaurant. We got up and got out, and went to IHOP next door. I’ll be calling the health department too.

[REVIEWFROMTHEROAD] Solid Dining Option While On The Road SITREP Hey. I know Denny’s is not as sexy an option to review as the Virgin River Gorge, but it’s been part of this trip, as well as the I-15 list I am constructing. So to NOT mention Denny’s would be a serious breach of protocol. THESETUP As it stands, we wheeled out of Glendale around 7am this morning. We pulled into Barstow around 9am to get some gas and took the opportunity to hit a later breakfast here. THEMENU I had some pretty solid meals: * Marty has the senior egg & bacon combo * Uncle Gary had his eggs & toast combo; and, * I got a breakfast skillet with country style potatoes, which I found quite filling, and a better deal overall in terms of heartiness to cost ratio. ;) We were all happy with the meal, and to be honest, this is probably the least expensive stop we’ve made on the trek so far, so there’s THAT. THELOWDOWN Denny’s delivers more bang for your buck on breakfast.

If you’ve been to one Denny’s, you’ve been to them all. Drunk or otherwise inebriated, you sit in a booth at odd hours of the night and spend five minutes debating between the Grand Slam Breakfast or the Mozzarella Sticks, ultimately deciding to get both along with a mug of generic hot coffee. But on our trip to Vegas, we decided to stop at the Denny’s in Barstow. And when we were there, they were doing the promotional menu based on the second Hobbit movie. After marveling over the giant graphic of Smaug, I noticed the Hobbit’s Hole Breakfast — eggs-in-a-basket made with grilled cheddar burger buns. In case you’re not familiar, eggs-in-a-basket is a slice of toast(or fluffy burger bun!) with the center cut out and replaced with an egg, fried. I love runny yolks so I asked for it «as easy as possible»(it seems that they generally cook it to over-medium so it would be easier to flip). Luckily, the yolk oozed as I cut into it and I was certainly not disappointed. And the buns were not alone. The hash browns were crispy and topped with cheddar and bacon. Can’t go wrong with that… this plate was so freaking good. So these four stars are really for this one particular dish, for being open 24 hours, and for the great service we received. Theolinda was really friendly and kept my coffee topped off all night. No complaints here!

It was quite busy but we were able to sit down immediately at the counter. The staff seemed overwhelmed by the rush. Plates were piling up in the window and it seemed quite disorganized. Our server was ok. She was friendly in our brief interchanges, but she was rushed to keep up. The food was ok. My expectations were modest at best, and they were met. The hash browns were good though.

Why 4 stars? I’ve been to many Denny’s. This was a great one. My hash browns were perfectly fried. The country fried steak was cooked well. And for the first time I had red velvet pancake puppies. Wow. Better yet, it’s cheap and fast.

There’s nothing much to say about this Denny’s except that the server was rude and judgmental to us. I personally do not think there’s anything wrong with sharing dishes or only having part of the group ordering food. I guess the server thought she was not going to receive much«tip» and decided to give us the cold shoulder for the rest of the night. The food was all right(but not up to par with your typical Denny’s food), however a couple of us got some bad stomachaches afterwards. I would have to say some toilet kissing was involved. Minor food poisoning? Yes, unfortunately. I would recommend going elsewhere for a meal. This place left a sour taste in my mouth.
