First time, ordered small pesto and spaghetti marinara with meatballs. Ate inside (3 small tables) on our way somewhere. Pasta was very good, homemade meatballs nicely seasoned, they kindly split the order since we were sharing (I didn’t ask). Pizza was yummy next time I plan to request well done since I like my cheese a little browned. Ratio of dough to ingredients was good. Will eat here and order again!

Great pizza, great selection. Very authentic Italian food. Deep dish is a literally a requirement* when you go here. It is quite rare to find a good place like this outside of Chicago. In my opinion, the best pizza place in Barrington and the northwest Chicago area, hands down.

Their gluten free gyros pizza is very tasty. It’s also nice because they cook it in a thin tin pan so it’s easy to reheat in the oven as leftovers! I have a gluten sensitivity so I’m not a celiac, so I can’t speak to whether they are 100% gluten free. But the pizza I had was pretty tasty! I just wished they had other gluten free items on the menu besides pizza (like pasta), but I think the gyros pizza is quite unique and is a great and delicious item!

The meat ravioli with the aglio olio (olive oil) is spectacular! The added garlic bread — even better.

Great pizza !!! Primo sure fits it. Coming thru Barrington and needed lunch. Ran in for a slice and it was fresh, and warm. Got a menu and will order one to bring home next time I’m going by. Great find ;-)

Plain and simple best pizza ever! Small stripmall establishment with great thin crust pies. Crust is light and crispy, sauce is super flavorful and has the slightest hint of spice and the the pizzas are very fairly priced. Primo Pizza I would safely say is Chicagolands best thin crust, and I’m pretty much a pizza enthusiast.

We ordered carry out pizza today. We ordered two gluten free pizzas and one regular (for my husband). I get nervous sometimes ordering from unknown places because of being gluten free. When I called to ask about the pizza, the person who answered told me that he got the crusts from a large gluten free company that starts with «U.» If you’re gluten free, you know who that is. I totally trust that brand.
The gluten free pizzas were cooked in their own little foil pans so my concerns about cross-​contamination were unfounded. The pizza tasted amazing. The whole family ate well, including my little ones. We were very satisfied and will be back. There are three tables in the shop as well as a TV so you could eat there if you had a group of two or three, but they do carry out and delivery so that might be a better choice. Prices were great!

Absolutely fantastic pizza. My husband and I are new to the area and we stumbled on Primo’s after trying to find a place that would deliver to us in Deer Park. Not only do they deliver here, but the pizza is amazing even despite the delivery drive/​time. Their thin crust pizza is awesome, as are their toppings. Primo’s has definitely upped my bar for pizza!

We called ahead and decided to eat in. When we arrived we got a friendly greeting from Jennifer (a sweetheart) telling us our pizza was ready. We sat at a table and she brought us plates and silverware. The first bite of pizza tells it all. Spot on! The thin crust had a nice crispy texture. The green peppers perfect. The sausage was delicious. The cheese and sauce made it all come together. There are a lot of pizza places out there but not many of them get it right. This place nailed it!

The pizza here is good — but I am compelled to give them five stars for their thoughtfulness — let me share the story.
I volunteer at a large food pantry with a lot of volunteers. A little less than a year ago, we were planning on ordering lunch. One of the volunteers told a leader that they would anonymously buy lunch for all the volunteers — they ordered pizza from Primo’s.
The owner delivered it that day. He saw the volunteers and all the people that we were serving and it really touched him. He told the leaders that he was willing to bring our volunteer team (about 40 – 50 people) lunch once a month and he’d cover it. Delivery included. He has done that each month since.
Businesspeople that have that kind of ethic deserve and get my business. If you’re in their area and have the chance to check Primo’s out, I hope you will.

Awesome thin crust pizza and great toppings. The crust was absolutely perfect and had a great crispy texture to it. Delivery was so fast, we were quoted 45 mins but the pizza arrived in 25 minutes. Delivery service was very helpful and offered excellent customer service. And not to mention, a great price too!!!

Being gluten intolerant has its disadvantages, a primary one being a lack of good pizza. A friend of mine had us over for a party and ordered me a gf pizza from Primo along with the regular pizzas for the other guests and I have to say it it the absolute best I have tried and there have been MANY.
Thanks Primo for making me feel like I was eating real pizza, but not actually killing me to do it :) Now, if I can just convince you to deliver to my house 25 miles away in Elmhurst…
