I’ve stopped here a few times after work. I just paid a dollar for a large iced tea and three quarters of the container was filled with ice. Previous times I’ve gone and ordered a large soft drink and asked for a large water. I was charged an extra dollar for the water. I have never been to a McDonald’s where they have charged me extra for water. I do not recommend this McDonald’s. If you want better value I recommend going to Crystal Lake. They won’t charge you for water.

I hate McDonald’s and I try to avoid it at all costs. However, I moved close to this location and I’ve started to get cravings for a Hot Fudge Sundae, or an Oreo McFlurry (I’d liked Wendy’s versions better), and I’ve gone through their drive thru several times to get myself a treat, or get food for my boyfriend.
The food is… McDonald’s — it is what it is. They don’t ever seem to give a receipt when you go through the drive thru, you seem to have to ask for it specifically. I’d avoid McDonald’s entirely, except that there isn’t really anywhere else even remotely convenient to grab a quick ice cream snack. For a McDonald’s, its not terrible, but it is what it is.

I am always looking for service when I am using the drive thru. This McDonalds seem to lack that service. From weeks ago to currently. They don’t hear correctly. First time was with my children’s MKids Meal, requested boy and girl, I received boy all around. I had to get off the car to change and still get an attitude from the employee. Second just rescently, I requested a Mkds Meal and received Rhappy Meal this time I made them do the work but I could see the employee had a bad face.

I have very high cholesterol, take Crestor for it, so I don’t normally eat at Mickey D’s but when I get a craving for dead red meat that’s been cooked, Mickey’s is hard to beat. So I did the drive thru and was shocked that almost all of their employees are NOT mexican. What!!! When I go to Mickey D’s I want to hear, «Hello whecome to Madonnas, howmayihepU?» NOT, «Hello, my name is Chaz, welcome to McDonald’s how can I be of service to you?» Huh!?! At least give me an old retired person wose social security check isn’t enough and they supplement with a sideline job at Mickey D’s. All joking aside, the food rocks!
