Great place to start out the night with friends or end it. Great beer, wine and cocktails. Thank you for opening up such a unique and fun place here in the suburbs!

The open mic night crowd is amazingly rude. Generally open mics pull a crowd who understand the etiquette of live music. There is a bar side and a stage side. If patrons want to converse with their friends, they may do so on the bar side, but it is childish to talk over a performer. I was astounded by how poorly the fellow musicians and audience treated the performers. I will not be coming back.

Ok. So some of the shirts are a little pricey. But, buy a mug or buy a poster! This place just about has it all. Most of all come for the events and live shows. A nice mix of a crowd. They serve beer, and good beer too. Decent prices on beer, I must say. The owner is a friendly gentleman. He is a very smart businessman. If you are in the area, you will definitely want to stop by. Even if you aren’t in the area, check it out. A great gem of a place!

Feels like a real American buisiness and glad to support it. Todd, the owner is as real as it gets and he believes in supporting the community. Kudos.

This place is awesome! It is a must see, visit, shop, and enjoy any chance you go near Barrington. Though the hemp and peace signs aren’t quite my genre and wouldn’t be surprised if the first med mary liscense is issued to this lo-cal…it’s still a place for great and unique finds. Hot sauce (Big fats), wines, bloody Mary mixes as well as clothing and out of the ordinary gifts is an adult gift shopper’s delight!

This has to be one of the coolest and off beat places I have ever been too. My friend and heard a band playing in what we believed was a clothing store, upon entering we discovered that it was so much more. By day you can shop some cool vintage T’s or trendy clothes and by night, this place turns into a trendy bar with live music.
A must see if you are in the area and if not make the trip!

Grassroots, if you haven’t been here, is a totally cool store! The owners are friendly and more than willing to help with any assistance that you may need.
They offer a large selection of different and unique items, including clothes, rock era theme art, reproduction rock concert and band shirts, unique hot sauces, specialty foods, and a great variety of fun/​politically incorrect items.
If that’s not enough, they have a bar on one side, and a music stage on the other! The bar carries a great selection of small batch and craft sodas, beer, wine and liquor. If you tried something that you like, you can buy and take the booze home with you.
I feel that this is just the place to find a gift for that hard to please person, or maybe yourself. Admit it, you’ve been awfully good lately.
