The service that was supplied at this facility was very slow, rude and vulgar the waitress we got looked like she just recently got busted by the police for using heroine but the food was not bad the music they were also playing was loud and not child friendly along with the non child friendly music the place was covered in the smell of smoke and beer the serving was unprofessional

I am very very displeased with case and bucks first off we had a waitress that look like an exotic dancer or preferably an escort and her chest almost popped out onto our table at a family dinner then they were playing music talking about very vulgar things our waitress was saying very vulgar words she even started a confrontation with me because I simply asked if there was alcohol in their wing sauce because due to my medicine I can not have anything even food with alcohol in it and she was absolutely rude she was very like I say very vulgar and I had my little brother and sisters there with me all of these words that are coming from her was just so disrespectful she argued with me she yelled at me the whole visit to Case and Bucks was absolutely disgusting to me I’m very appalled by everything that happened there and I will not be going back to Case and bucks for even a glass of water it was all was a horrible experience a very horrible experience. And not to mention the whole confrontation of her yelling at me about my question if the alcohol was in the food it made my little sister so upset that she cried and have somebody come pick her up because she felt so uncomfortable I just feel like that whole visit to Case and Bucks there in Barnhart was absolutely horrible the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant I felt so disrespected and so offended that I will not be returning.

Found this place while visiting the old neighborhood I grew up in. Apparently it’s now under new management and it’s in a turn around kind of mode. While there I found out that all the meat products are bought from a local butcher shop called Harrell’s. That’s huge, local business supporting each other. So I met a nice young woman when I walked in who just happened to be one of the owners«Rachel». So nice! I had the pork tenderloin sandwich with fries and an ice tea. It was so flavorful and good I ordered the French dip to go. I ate a third of it before I left just to try it. awesome! The cook or chef they have is doing a great job. I know there’s more remodeling to come, but rest assured I’ll be back and I’ll work my way through the menu. Plus I’ll definitely recommend this place to all my friends.

Sadly tonight is my last order from Case & Bucks. I loved this place, and have been going since I was a child. Last year I would give this place 5 stars. But it seems since in the last 6 months, Case & Bucks has taken a complete nosedive. I don’t do dine-in due to the heavy smoke even in the dining room. Not a problem, just carry out since I live in the neighborhood right behind here. But my last 3 carryout orders have had inexcusable mistakes. Order #1 was hot wings, but they forgot the sauce. Order #2 contained a salad with southwest ranch, but oops no dressing. But tonight was simple. Tonight was 1 pound of wings and cheese garlic bread. Pick up my order, walk back to the car, and decide to check based on previous experience. 2 containers, both with wings. After waiting 45 minutes to even pick it up based on what I was told on the phone. So eat here at your own risk. The food is awesome, some of the best wings in St. Louis, but I can’t keep supporting such horrible service.

Several years ago this place was renovated. That was the beginning of the end for me. Ever since, the food is not as good and the prices were raised. They eliminated some things off the menu. Of course it was the things we most liked. Place just isn’t the same.

This review is written as a warning not because of the quality of the food but the air quality of the establishment. I am allergic to cigarette smoke and most bar and grills where there is heavy smell of smoke I cannot eat in so when I had a craving for Case & Buck’s wings I called and placed a to go order. I deliberately arrived about 10 minutes after they said they would be ready. I must have missed some kind of time window because the bartender said they had been transferred to the station that is in the dining area. After what seemed an eternity, which was probably less than 5 minutes the girl emerged from the kitchen with my wings. Now it is the next morning and I am probably going to be miserable all weekend. In my town they instituted a smoking ban and they restaurant owners predicted doom and the opposite happened now there are new restaurants all over the place.

The restaurant has been around for many years and I have not been in ages. When I went in I remembered why… smoking! When you go in the front door you go directly into the bar. To be fair the food was decent but the smoke is so strong it taints the food. If your smoker check it out. If sensitive to smoke like me just be aware.

Don’t waste your time! 6⁄21 arrived at 5:45, escaped at 7:30. Told 20 – 25 minute wait for a table. Table was ready in 25 minutes. We were not seated for another 25 minutes. Ordered chopped steak with green beans and mac and cheese. Chopped steak — good. Gravy, saltier than the ocean. Ordered green beans, cut chopped green beans, largest one no bigger than ½ inch. Mac and cheese — barely warm Kraft. Worst dining experience in quite a while. Service — pathetic If I could rate this place 0 stars, that would be too high. Diner beware; you’ve been warned.

In short: Case and Bucks serves up some pretty damn good food. The portions are huge as well as the service was not bad. I went out with mum after looking at a rental property close by. The only negative part of the experience was that we walked in and waited for a server. There was no sign posted saying that we could seat ourselves. It must have been some unknown non-verbal rule. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich and a loaded baked potato, while mom ordered an 8 ounce steak with a loaded baked potato and a side salad. These potatoes did not have the small bacon bits that you would expect with the big chain restaurants. These potatoes had huge chunks of cooked, smoked bacon and we were given plenty of butter and sour cream on the side. The buffalo chicken sandwich was fried to perfection with delicious sauce, mozzarella cheese and crisp hunks of bacon on top. In short, it was damn good. The prices are not that bad here as well. Very well recommended!

Stopped in with the wife for dinner, I had never been here before but always pass it on the highway and thought I would go in to try it out. Place looks like it has been here for a long time – maybe a converted bar/pool hall? Pretty divey, run-down place – décor consisted of some neon beer signs and some ripped up posters from Soulard Mardi Gras taped to the walls. was hoping the food would be good, though. It wasn’t. We both ordered ½ lb. burgers, I got the Black & Blue burger and my wife got the Big Burger, both with fries. I ordered mine medium, and she ordered hers medium well, but they both came out well done. Both patties were firm, dry, and way over-seasoned. In fact, they kinda tasted like they were frozen, pre-formed patties from Costco or other store – they definitely did not taste homemade. The fries were good and the service was good too, but I just wasn’t really impressed with the food. Maybe other items on the menu are better, but I will probably not be back anytime soon.

Food is good, portion size is good for the price on the lunch menu, but service is not good. My friend and I seated ourselves and were there at least 5 minutes before I yelled hello, for service. Waitress took our order, it didn’t take long to get our food, but once we were served its like our waitress forgot about us. There was a total of four tables filled up, so its not like she was busy. Food was good enough that I definitely will go back, but will hope for better service.
