We love this neighborhood bar and grill! Great place to take the kids and let them sing Karaōke after a fantastic dinner. Great Waitress and Hostess!

No. Just NO! This place is nasty. I have given it about 4 tries and still just not good. The food has no taste.

Extremely satisfied with the all you can eat fish on Friday nights with a side of french fries and cole slaw. The fish is prepared with a cornmeal mixture and it is cooked to perfection every time. They have other specials throughout the week that sound delicious as well. You will not be disappointed with the Friday night fish. Thanks Detour!

I’ve been here twice now — both times to grab a bite to eat before Paint Nite. If there wasn’t a Paint Nite event being hosted I’d never stop in. The food is meh and the service hit or miss. The first time I visited the service was pretty stellar but on the second visit it was just off. Food took forever to emerge from the kitchen, our order was wrong, drinks went unrefilled, and it was difficult tracking down our waitress. There are better mom & pop bar & grills than this one so I’d recommend cruising on by. ..

Came across this neighborhood bar and grill when we were searching for a new place to karaōke.
Got there early as it was a Friday night and we weren’t sure how many people would be there. Was seated immediately and by a tv to watch the soccer final games.
There’s a lot on the menu so you’ll find something to satisfy your hunger. I got chicken fingers, which were golden brown and served with 2 sides, which were fries and a salad. Plenty of food that you could probably share with someone.
Staff was friendly and nice. The only complaint I have about them is that the busboys are at your side to take that plate/​cup the moment you take the last drop. It actually was a bit too much that they came around.
Once done we moved over to the bar area for karaōke. The guy was super nice and the karaōke selection was huge. The way the sound carried in the openness of the bar was awesome.
We definitely have plans to come back with a group in the future!

We love this little neighborhood bar & grill. The have great food, ice cold beer & a very friendly staff. The owners are some of the nicest people around.

Fast and friendly service. The food is pretty good, especially the pulled pork potato skins.

My review is simple I ordered the Baked Spaghetti on Monday night (All U Can Eat)

) has on their site kids eat free on Monday. While I was told they do not.
In this day and age it is up to the business to verify erroneous info on the web about their business.
The Baked spaghetti was supposed to be baked it was not. The Baked Spaghetti was suppose be covered in cheese (PROVEL) it was not. The Baked Spaghetti was luke warm at best. Needless to say I did not order anymore.
The sauce was so heavy with Basil that was all you could taste.
We also ordered a gourmet pretzel it taste like it was put in the microwave you know how bread gets in the micro kind of stale and chewy.
The sad part it is so close to my house that I would love to be able to go there and eat. I however do not drink and it has been my experience that drunk people do not care what they eat cause they are buzzed.
This is a great place to take a friend for a beer. Not so much a great place for dinner with your kids

Been here numerous times. I’ve tried a bunch of different things off the menu, never really liked anything besides the Philly, which is also hit or miss. Pizzas bland as is the fried chicken. Pastas are terribly bland and the spaghetti is very sweet tasting. That’s just the food. The real downfall is ok matter the time, day or night, bar or restaurant, every staff member I’ve encountered is either rude or lacking personality. Out of the 10 waitresses I’ve probably had, maybe 2 were decent. And I’ve had a few good times at the bar but that’s because the beers cold, unfortunately so is the bartender. Needless to say, I don’t return often. Not to eat anyway.

Went back again and this time I enjoyed it. I got a pulled pork sandwich and some fries. The sandwich was generously topped with creamy coleslaw the pork was warm and in good portion.
The fries last time were quite a disappointment this time were actually quite the star they were came out warm and hot and perfectly seasoned.
While I am not a fan of their beer selection it was acceptable I had a blue moon with an orange wedge in it. The service was great honestly the bartender was quite a worker and she definitely earned her tip.
In the end I honestly say that while I may not seek this place out again. I would not turn this place down if a friend suggested that we go there or if I was in the area.

Owner seems to be a mad man. Witnessed this guy threatening customers. Won’t be going back.

Love this place. Great food, great people and great service. Ask for Nicole and she’ll treat you right! Seriously though, their food is consistent and the atmosphere is great.

Really friendly service during my Saturday afternoon visit. The Chili was good as was my philly wrap. The inside is much larger and nicer than it appears outside. Great local place.

Tonight was our first visit there. We probably won’t be going back. The service was OK and the lady was nice, but the food wasn’t the best. I feel bad that my husband only tipped a little more than 10% because the waitress didn’t make the food bad.
The bacon wrapped jalapenos were great and the salads that came with the meals were good. However we were very disappointed in the broiled Salmon fillets with dijon mustard sauce. Unfortunately, they were very bland to say the least and my husband’s was dry. The garlic mashed potatoes were lacking in flavor too. Also, my son chose the steak from the kids menu and he didn’t even eat all of it. He said it was horrible and he really loves steak! In truth, my husband and I tasted it and it wasn’t the greatest. :(
Maybe we chose the wrong things to order from the menu because there was a fair amount of people there and they seemed happy, but the majority of them were there to drink. So, in my opinion, when you are drinking… anything tastes good. However, there’s nice selection of food on the menu and many things I wish I would have tried instead of the salmon.
I think this is maybe one of those places in which you will just have to personally try it for yourself to see if you like it. Also, I am sure it is a great place to hang out and drink with your drinking buddies. We rarely drink and it is usually at home or very little in restaurants. I think this just isn’t our type of environment. So, I probably won’t get a second chance to try other foods from the menu.
You need to prepare yourself if you are sensitive to smoke. Unfortunately I am and I had my 7 year old son with me too. The smoking and non-​smoking areas are only divided by a tall wall and it didn’t seem as though they had good enough ventilation to keep the non-​smoking truly non-​smoking. But, good luck trying to find a place in MO that successfully separates smoking and non-​smoking areas. You usually have to walk through the smoking area just to get to the non-​smoking area. Not sure who thought up that brilliant idea. At least this place didn’t make me do that. However you must if you choose to eat outside. I just need to check prior to going to a place from now on. I am just too used to living in areas that mandate non-​smoking in public places. It will probably be a cold day in hell before MO people let that law pass.

Neighborhood bar and surprisingly busy with regular people. Went in on a Wednesday evening around 6:30 and it was full of families dining with kids in sports uniforms. They have a rather big menu for a local bar in the country. I ordered an 8 oz sirloin it came with a salad and baked potato. The salad had the dressing put on it already and it was a little too much for me but I did eat every bite. The steak was cooked medium well and not medium like I asked but still was tasty and tender. The didn’t have a very good alcohol selection either mainly domestic and some more common favorites like corona and blue moon. There are no taps here just bottles. The atmosphere was bland. Service was really good and super friendly. My husband had the fish sandwich and he thought it was excellent.

Horrible food. Mashed potatoes seemed like part real and part instant. The gravy was congealed like it had been sitting for hours. When I asked the server about it, she didn’t get it. It was business as usual for her.

Excellent food. Chicken Marsala and the wings are great. Nice place for lunch or dinner!
