Rooms are clean but small. Staff is wonderfully welcoming. Pool area looks well kept and is indoors. The problem I have is that I travel for work and I need good internet access. The internet here is slow and you have to re-log in every two hours. This makes it difficult to get all the work done and it is impossible to stream Netflix or Hulu or HBO. I had to connect to my personal hotspot to finish work. If it were not for the internet problems this would be a four star economy hotel.

My family and I travel around a lot for cheer competition weekends. We have had many good and many bad hotels. All for different reasons. This hotel was very clean, which is a place, and the reason for a higher rating. The bad is check in yes are at 3pm and they were still cleaning said rooms. You had to wait in line for almost a half hour just to check in. This was at 4pm mind you. While walking to the rooms the very small hallways were crowded with cleaning carts and dirty laundry on the floor. Another plus would be how friendly everyone was. If you needed anything they were right there to assist with a smile. Also, for just a night a two it’s a wonderful price. Can’t be beat. Downfall is that the rooms are so small. You can’t turn around in the bathroom. There is no privacy to change. Kind of strange if you have kids. I like that there are a microwave and mini fridge. It’s a cute setup. Also the indoor pool were nice for my kids. We understand the need for lots of chlorine, but when you walk into the pool room and your lungs burn, that doesn’t make for a good amount of fun. Make sure you immediately rinse off when you get back to your room or your skin will burn. It was also only about 2 miles from the casino which was a plus. Lots of good and some bad but the cleanliness and friendliness gave it a solid 4!

There’s nothing spectacular about a 2-star motel but it’s people who make it different. My checkin guy, Mike, got me a car(shuttle) from the airport and kept me on the ground level. He also covered me on items I didn’t pack. The hotel has more of a motel feel to it… dimly lit hallways, small bed, small TV and a tiny sink. But it was cheap and heated and that’s all this traveler needed. Cool points — Circle K, Tim Horton’s and a movie theatre within walking distance.
