Very basic hotel at a great price in a great location. The rooms are small by us standards but clean and quiet. Staff is friendly. If you are just passing thru and need a place to close your eyes for a night this works. Not a family vacation our honey moon destination but also a far cry from other roach motels at the same price

Very basic travelers motel. Very small room with single queen bed. Looks like the walls were painted by 12 year olds. Wifi worked well. Breakfast was ok.

Do you need a good place to stay right off the highway? Do you want to not spend a ton? Do you like nice people? STAYATTHEECONOLODGE. Bangor offers lots of hotel options, but the Econo Lodge is by far my favorite. I’ve been posted in Bangor for work every week for the past few months and I’ve had the pleasure(?) of staying in lots of hotels in the area. For the price and location, the Econo Lodge cannot be beat. There is a complimentary breakfast, but better yet, if you’re a picky eater like me, there are ample toasters to prepare anything you’ve brought yourself(read: whole grain rye toast with almond butter). There is a nice pool. And there is SUPER nice staff. Everyone that works here is made of sweetness and kindess and all that is good about the world. And it shows in the hotel. The place is spotless. Sure the rooms are small and a bit dated, but everything sparkles. I never thought I’d say it, but I love an Econo Lodge.
