It’s the only karaōke bar in the city so there’s that but it desperately needs to be updated and the old ladies that work there can be rude to the young people that come in. It’s like they don’t realize people come there to get drunk and sing. Lose the bartenders with an attitude problem and upgrade the facility and I’ll give you 5 stars!

Came here last Saturday for my birthday and it was an absolute blast! I made a reservation for 10 about a week in advance and ended up changing it to 15 people the day before when they called to confirm. We had the large room which was 40 $ an hour and at hour 3 we were toast lol. Everyone of my friends was extremely pleased with the experience and the staff was incredibly helpful. The song selection could be better but there is definitely enough material to keep you happy for a long time. Will definitely be back ;)

From New York, me and my brother decided we wanted to hit a karaōke bar the night before an O’s game. Honestly, wasn’t expecting much but what we got was so much better. This place was jumping. Packed to the gills, lively, a lot of energy, a great karaōke night. Wait was a bit long to sing, but enjoyable none the less. Dollar jello shots and $ 3.75 natty boh’s will get you feeling nice real fast.

I like this place and tried to have my birthday party here, but it just gets so packed on the weekends that it’s extremely hard to hang out with your friends and/or sing karaōke, so that’s not optimal. Also, when the bar is totally crowded it can be very hard to hear the singers, which again sort of defeats the purpose. If however you can make it in here during an off night(not Friday or Saturday), it can be very charming and fun, plus they have a great song book.

Karaōke! Dollar shots! Walts is the kind of place you want to go to if you’re in the mood for an entertaining night. Very small and definitely a dive but always a fun time.

if you’re a local i definitely suggest giving walt’s a visit at least once in your life. it’s a true dive bar with an eclectic clientele who all come out to wince the night away in the name of karaōke. there is no stage so you literally just stand awkwardly at the back of the bar as you sing, but as the place fills up this can get way more interesting. the drinks are super reasonable, especially the jello shots which my friends and i have a bad habit of ordering like candy. it’s your typical baltimore row house bar so after orioles games or on the weekend it can get a bit tight, but that’s more reason to bond with your fellow baltimoron and make friends… right? right.

Good karaōke bar! If you aren’t from the East coast, the skinny bars will take some getting used to… it is kind of like going to a bar that is built in a trailor. Way thin and deep, with the restrooms in the way back. Walt’s is on a corner, but that still doesn’t provide a lot of breathing room. Folks get into karaōke pretty well, and w had a good time. Drinks were reasonably priced and we parked somewhere on Boston. Not sure if light rail or metro gets down this way(will need to research).

Cheap beer, great jello shot specials, kareoke 24/7, dirty photo hunt, and located only 3 blocks away from Canton Square — what’s not to like!!!

The best place in town for karaōke! It’s your typical Canton rowhome size place though and with it being so awesome it gets super packed! But people are very friendly when you are scooting your way through. Only having one bathroom for the ladies and one for the guys can be tough, but it usually isn’t a long wait. Drinks are flowing and cheap. And definitely love the $ 1 jello shots(Hummer’s has these too!) I love singing karaōke here too! Show up early to get your songs in because they always have too many requests to get ‘em all in before they close for the night. They have 3 mics so plenty of your friends can join you and I’ve even had strangers grab a mic before while I was singing! haha Good way to meet new people!

A must-do experience in Baltimore! Been to a lot of bars in many towns and Walt’s is one place I can walk in and not feel judged one bit. No inkling of pretentiousness. Different walks of life, though leaning on young drunken crowd on weekends. My sis and I once drank here for several hours and got a tab for $ 9?!! For both of us? I don’t know if it was an error. My sis is not a cheap date. I even actually«sing» here sometimes, though you shouldn’t let that preclude you from a visit.

What other bars in Canton can you down $ 1 jello shots for semi liquid courage and sing your heart out? That would be the one and only Walt’s Inn. This is the best Karaōke bar in Canton. If jello shots aren’t your thing order a punch bucket and split it with your friends or a karaōke stranger. Your bound to come out of there having a great time with plenty of laughs and maybe even a few new friends. Get your requests in before midnight because sometimes its too crowded to get to everyone’s favorite tune. Oh and bathrooms are past the open«stage».

My coworkers have been talking about this place where you could go for karaōke in Baltimore, and it was finally time to go and check it out. This place is TINY!!! One long bar, and a bit of space infront of it and at the end of the room a small TV screen for the karaōke and the restrooms. That’s about it. Also, when we showed up on a Wednesday night, there was only one bartender/karaōke planner. Will prolly be back from the looks of it; will definitely keep you updated: D

Cheap beer and karaōke every night! Beware of the shot specials, they can be scary(waltz inn, stumble out). One bartender most nights and they can get pretty overwhelmed on a busy night with taking drink orders and running the karaōke machine which can make things slow going. It use to be more of a dive bar but has gained quite a bit of popularity as a end of the night stop. Still a great bar with good prices and hilarious people watching.

Great place to get blackout drunk and sing karaōke. Actually, the only place I know of in Southeast Baltimore. The beer is always well priced, and I know that I can go in there on any given weekend and run into friends. All in all, it’s a great bar, and one that’s in the rotation after any night out in Baltimore.

I just moved to Canton, Baltimore and happened to be walking distance to Walts. The very first time my friends and I visited Walt’s, we fell in love with the place. Its a warm comfortable clean homey place. The barstaff and patrons are friendly and the drinks are priced great. Karaōke starts at 9pm daily until 1am – a lot of people come for this attraction. There’s also free wi-fi. We ordered a grey goose shot, makers mark on the rocks, and an amaretto sour and the bill came out to $ 13…yes the total bill was $ 13! Bottled beer usually runs about $ 2 – 3 a piece and they have jello and specialty shooters that frun from $ 1 – 3 depending on day and time. With the economy the way that it is, the drink prices are very attractive and relevant. Pizzas and pretzels are tasty but if the bar is busy, your bartender will probably not be able to get to making you one since other than friday and saturday, there is usually just one bartender. The bar and Karaōke is very busy after 11pm on Fri and Sat, so if you want to sing come early or on the off nights. They have TV’s which are usually playing sports channels and on Sundays you can watch Sunday NFL ticket. You get quite a mixed bunch of people visiting Walt’s. You never know who might be there as it seems that the bar has a far reaching reputation in Baltimore. You will find a wide spectrum of ages, professions and mixed bunch of ethnicity. Of course, the people who live close to Walt’s tend to visit more often so you will see more Canton natives than others. Most of the customers are friendly and I’ve met quite a few new friends at Walts. The bar staff are long tenured. Most of the bartenders have been with Walt’s many years which seems to be a good sign to me. I can’t say enough about how I enjoy coming to Walt’s but I’ll end mine here… and see you at Walt’s Inn… Stumble Out! I’m a regular now!

Not a huge fan of Karaōke, but like going to Walt’s Inn before 9 to sit with all the regulars drinking bud bottles(and for the ladies, bud light out of a wine glass – classy). Great customer service and drink specials and only $ 6.50 for Marlboro’s out of the machine(classy is a theme at Walt’s). The only downside– tends to become inundated with drunk canton yuppies after Karaōke starts, which is usually when I take my cue and leave.

I have been to this bar numerous times when visiting Baltimore. Its really a great spot for Karaōke and gets super packed on the weekends. The drinks they pour here are enormous and come in 12 oz solo cups. WE had two mixed drinks and a beer for 12 bucks, its no wonder this place is a big hit. Its on my must visit list as they have karaōke 7 nights a week. Go check it out for a great time. And remember their tagline here, Walts Inn. STUMBLEOUT. Hilarious…

As with most dances, there are many variations…(according to wikipedia) The American Style Waltz– aka Drinking Budweiser The Mexican Waltz– Jose Cuervo The Country Western Waltz– Jack Daniels and The International Standard Waltz– Puking at the Bar All of these may occur at this fine establishment.- note. they may also occur while singing a bad(good?) rendition of Bad Romance. OH wait, one more waltz — «Hesitation Waltz» incorporated Hesitations and was danced to fast music. A Hesitation is basically a halt on the standing foot during the full waltz measure, with the moving foot suspended in the air or slowly dragged. — variations include ‘faceplant” and«boy meets barstool»

Here’s an unusual comment for a karaōke bar(or maybe not) GREAT costumer service. So I originally did email the bar requesting songs, not really thinking I would ever get a response(let’s be real, the latest updates on alotta business sites could be decades ago) but I said, why not?! Well I DID get a response which was awesome, however, at the time they were working on my requests… due to liscensing issues… makes sense. Anyways, just got another email from them saying they found my songs! Do you know how happy this makes me!!! Best news I’ve gotten all year =p Thanks WALT’S INN! You guys are outstanding in service and entertainment. You’ve made my month spectacular and I can’t wai tto visit again.
