We discovered The Reserve after buying a deal to see Chef Sammy Davis cook at the Reserve. We came back for dinner. Overall, it was a great experience. The fried hot wings were perfectly cooked, meaty, and the sauce was sweet at first, and then hit you but not too hard. Very good. The Big Ass burger with Tomato Jam was not bad, not great, but not bad. The spinach salad was unfortunately just OK. The calamari were perfectly cooked. The sauce is very sweet, so be sure to grab a pepper as you grab some calamari. The wait staff was very attentive, and very friendly. We had great service. We had some confusion with our livingsocial coupon, but our server took care of it for us with no questions, or problems. The restaurant was packed almost the entire time we were there. We got the last open table, and when we left, there was a line at the door. We did not perceive a drop in service because of the full dining room. Our only gripe is parking, we needed to drive around a bit before we found an open spot on the street. That is just a function of a city restaurant, so not a big deal, but worth mentioning. Its a very nice neighborhood, so even if you have to park and walk a few blocks, it’d still be fine. We are already planning to return.
