Super cute ice cream and candy shop right on the corner, next to Phillips in Downtown! The ice cream is delicious(Graham cracker is our fave!), good quality and imported from a creamery in Massachusetts. Large portions. They rotate seasonal flavors as well!

The staff is super friendly and for a little store, they have a huge selection of candy! I really enjoy going to Best of Luck whenever I’m at the harbor!

I got a scoop of the honey graham ice cream which tasted like a step back into being a kid again. It was perfect for this warm winter night! My husband had a strawberry milkshake that he said was delicious and the perfect size. Next time we are in town, we will be back!

Not bad. Had the mint chocolate chip and rainbow sherbert. The mint chip had a couple ice crystals in it.

WHAT a treat after fogo de chao! Graham cracker ice cream and coconut ice cream were absolutely divine! $ 8 for 2 scoops of ice cream but they give you a lot.

Best Ice cream in a long time! I had the pistachio and the honey graham. Great treat after touring the aquarium. No indoor seating but a few tables located outside. They said the ice cream contains no artificial colors or ingredients.

Very colorful establishment offering ice cream, coffee, candy, and other sweets. Ice cream is from Taharka Brothers, which will certainly please, but priced a little higher, possibly because of location.

How do you not love Best of Luck? What used to be one of the best candy shops in Baltimore is now the best candy shop WITH ice cream! You take two of my loves and put them together right at the Inner Harbor? J’adore! All the ice cream is Taharka Brothers and ice cream spans from old favorites to newer loves. Make a stop in for a quick treat, a snack for home, or a gift for someone who you want to make smile. Guaranteed winners here all around!

This ice cream and candy parlor is so quaint and adorable! During my last visit to Baltimore, I stopped in to Best of Luck for a quick«sugar high», and to my delight I was satisfied. I purchase a small ice cream and some sweet treats, the pricing was a little higher than I was anticipating, but the atmosphere was delightful.

Bad service and rude staff. Ordered milkshakes for my kids and we had to wait 15 minutes to get the last one. All the while they made 3 of the same milkshakes we ordered and gave them to people who ordered after us. The two stars is for the ice cream, which was okay.

I spotted this place while I was visiting the aquarium a few days ago. It looked adorable and I was really craving popcorn so I went inside. There were samples of caramel popcorn available on the counter which tasted great! I decided to order the plain popcorn instead though, which was equally delicious. They also have a large assortment of candies, ice cream, and chocolates that looked very tempting. There was only one person working at the store and she was kind. My problem with this place is that my uncle who was with me order coffee and it was really COLD! Thinking this was a one off situation, I took the coffee back to the counter and let the cashier know the issue. She gave me some excuse about how it can’t be any hotter because of safety codes(how are other establishments serving hot coffee then??), but she gave me a fresh cup(which was also cold). When she was pouring it, I noticed it was poured out of a thermos and not a coffee pot. Well, no wonder it was cold! If you are going to serve coffee, serve it hot(and fresh!) otherwise take it off your menu. I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit this place again, but I wouldn’t mind some more of their popcorn if I was in the area.

Cute store, amazing ice cream flavors. I love the honey graham cracker and the strawberry cheesecake. Graham cracker ice cream is my favorite. Well, that and cotton candy ice cream. They have nice sections of crumbled graham cracker. Just so good! The cashiers are nice and speedy. Not sure of the pricing of candy but the ice cream is about $ 4 a scoop.

I debate between one and two stars, and decided I only give one stars to places where I really hated the people, and well the staffs were friendly enough. But the ice cream, the ice cream was GODAWEFUL!!! I gave this place 2 tries already. First time I had the worst(and the ONLY non-enjoyable) salted caramel of my life. Second time I had the worst(and the ONLY non-enjoyable) irish cream of my life. Worse than unimpressive and meh, literally not edible. and the above were two of my favorite flavors! The salted caramel was SO salty, it’s like someone dumped a cup of salt in and mixed it very evenly into the mixture to make sure the whole thing taste like it’s chilled soup. at that point it doesn’t bring out the sweet or the flavor any more it overpowers everything. there’s a difference between a pinch of salt and a cup of salt. For reference: try a pint of talenti salted caramel from the grocery. it’s a bizillion times better. And the irish cream, dear god. If you’ve had the haagen-daaz rum n raisin, and then had the friendly’s rum n raisin, you’ll have a rough idea of what they did to irish cream — they’re doing to irish cream what friendly did to rum n raisin. WAYY too much liquor, that all other favors were covered up by the liquor, it just taste like alcoholic sugar. Just aweful. srsly, just use irish cream flavored coffee or syrup would’ve made a MUCH better tasting cup. or at least an edible one. 0⁄2 on their ice cream, both times the ice cream were SO bad i couldn’t finish my one scoop. but the décor’s cute, and I guess if you don’t try any specialty flavor and just go with chocolate, can’t mess that up. seriously i don’t even understand why they even other those flavors if they can’t do them right.

Would love to give a real review, but while the sign on the door said«open» and it was 9 on the dot; the security guard and 2 – 3 employees standing by the fir said, «we’re closed sir.» Why have the doors wide open and«open» showing? Waste of my time.

Was passing by and noticed this cute shop on the corner. I decided to get ice cream. I got the Honey teddy graham ice cream. I usually get cookies and cream or regular vanilla but I wanted to try something different and this flavor caught my eye since I have never heard of it before. Now I cannot stop thinking about it. lol It was soo delicious! You have to try it!

After walking for hours exploring from Downtown to Little Italy and back on a hot day I needed something COLD. I saw the sign for ice cream and it brought me in, but it was the Mango Slushee that I needed so bad. It was exactly what I needed to cool me down and head back out on my adventures through Baltimore.

This is a cute little candy shop that just opened up recently. It’s not the cheapest but they have a lot of old school candies! Blast from the past! They also have slushies, drinks and ice cream bars. The frozen fruit bar was refreshing to eat on a hot summer day.

In this world of mass-merchandised everything, it was a sincere relief to wander into The Best of Luck and see shelves lined with apothecary jars filled with a beautiful, dizzying assortment of every imaginable kind of sweets. The store features a wide variety of classic candies sold in bulk by the pound(mix and match? You betcha), as well as great assortment of nostalgia candies as well. Have a sweet-tooth for time travel? Try a wad of Big League Chew. Crave Necco Wafers? The friendly staff at The best of Luck won’t judge, but merely oblige. One thing that I was really impressed by was their assortment of gift baskets, or rather gift buckets. I’d never really considered how artistically candy could be arranged, and the several buckets on display(as well as the many in the process of being put together for clients) showed a truly creative flair. Seriously, though– flowers are so trite, and Edible Arrangements are just tacky; this is a truly unique and creative gift idea. I know for certain that this is my new alternative to the same-old, same-old when sending something to clients. Also– when you go into the store be sure to check out the holiday table display to see the creative uses for candy as a decorating medium for centerpieces, etc. Once again– a clever and whimsical idea for holiday decorating. In short– The Best of Luck is more than a candy store. They’ve found a creative niche and they execute brilliantly on it. Check them out, you’ll be glad you did.
