I’ve been coming here for the past year fairly consistently for late evening meals and actually also had large quantities ordered for parties a couple times as well. The food is usually excellent most of the time. The only ding against the place is I have on more than one occasion had vegetables that tasted slightly old. Old enough that I would pick it out of my food. I would recommend the drunken noodles and the panang curry. Both are my go to items. If you like a little kick in your food, they have many levels of spice that get just about as spicy as you could handle. If you swing by during odd hours or around closing, I would call to make sure they are open. Twice I’ve tried to call to get take out to find they are closed. Overall an great place for some perry good, inexpensive Thai food.

Insanely cheap Thai food, but they definitely don’t skimp on the flavor and portion. This is my go-to place when I’m flat broke but still have a craving for thai. Their menu items are definitely a hit-or-miss, so I would recommend playing safe when choosing what to eat. They have solid pad thai and drunken noodles. I also tried their pineapple fried rice, which was fairly standard. I would definitely avoid Satay chicken– it was super dry and lacked flavor. With pretty poor choices of Thai food in Baltimore area(not to mention, they are super overpriced for no reason), this place is definitely worth a try.

Hmm… I usually find that Thai food is a safe go-to option for decent Asian food even in areas without a significant Asian population, but this was quite disappointing. My two roommates and I ordered take-out for lunch after trying some of their food at a catered event. I ordered the Yum Talay, or seafood salad($ 9.95). I should have known that $ 10 was too good to be true for a seafood dish, but the dish as a whole was just plain disappointing. The seafood consisted of a couple pieces of shrimp, small scallops, and imitation crab meat, and the vast majority of the dish was bland cabbage. The sauce tasted like it was strong/flavorful once upon a time, but was pretty bland and watery when I had it. Definitely would not order again. In addition, although I did not try the other dishes that were ordered(drunken noodles, green curry with chicken, pad thai), the overall consensus was that the food was quite disappointing. In fact, the food was so different from what we had at the catered event in terms of flavor that we began to wonder if we were misinformed and perhaps they had actually bought in food from another restaurant entirely. The pad thai looked odd — the noodles were not flat and were suspiciously white and bland(usually, the noodles take on a darker, brownish tinge after being tossed with the sauce and seasoning). I did try a small bite of the green curry, which was not bad. Service for pick up was friendly, fast, and efficient. Food was estimated to be ready in 10 – 15 minutes, but I asked them to hold off to 40 minutes because we were running errands beforehand, and they happily complied. Basically, it would take some degree of convincing for me to come back here again.

wow. I am so satisfied with my dinner that I just finished eating from Elephant Thai. I placed an order togo for a chicken pad thai and chicken drunken noodles(around $ 20 for both after tax). Everything was so delicious, especially the drunken noodles. Both of the dishes had so much flavor and a good amount of chicken which I do appreciate. The portion of the pad thai was incredibly huge… definitely enough for leftovers or to share with someone! I highly recommend this place!

So glad I found this place! The portions are tasty and definitely large for the pricing. I do wish their AC was turned on a little more when I was there since I walked out with about 4 mosquito bites, but it was worth it. Apparently they also do delivery, which is nice to know. The spiciness scale isn’t absurd — I got the«spicy» Pad Thai and I could barely taste the spice, but I also have a high tolerance. The«large» option is definitely enough for two people, or for leftovers if that’s more your thing!

It’s alright. I have had a very spicy(and I like spicy) Panang, but also an extremely dry and tasteless Drunken Noodles(it arrived in a rice box container, and no sauce)! Several appetizers have been sampled. Some were decent, but I feel they should change their oil a little more frequently. Not my favourite Thai restaurant in the Baltlmore area. Stang of Siam is still my #1, despite the service, but for delivery, this place is alright.

Great cheap Thai food! They don’t warn you that spicy, MEANSLAVASPICY! I ordered beef drunken noodles«a little spicy» and I was sweating. I wouldn’t dare venture past that but for all of you atomic lovers, this is the place to get your spice fill while still maintaining amazing taste. I also ordered the spring rolls — small, but you get 4. Rolled perfectly tight and packed with goodness. The sweet and sour sauce had a bit more vinegar than most places but it complimented the rolls well. Got some egg fried rice to tie it all together and was amazed to finally find a place that didn’t overuse the soy sauce! It had a nice light coating, enough saltiness that real fries rice should have, and surprise cilantro for an extra herby boost. Great small spot, I’d recommend.

They hired new people. New staff in the front and back of house because they opened a new location downtown… Good and bad news. Good for the owners. Bad for the customers. The lady who now seems to man the front of house is SO slow. She’s not very friendly either. I miss the original lady from Thailand with exceptional customer attention. The back of house is totally Mexican now. Nobody is from the original shop which used to have Asian staff cooking up the flavors. Not a fan of this place anymore. Food is just acceptable.

Ordered takeout SERVICE: said would take an hr, only took 30 min, no delivery charge, but there is $ 15 min FOOD I tried pad sew ew and pad thai. Pad sew ew had strong soy sauce flavor but was decent enough and satisfied my craving. Pad thai wasn’t that good. It was sloppy, the noodles were overdone and had too much zest, but I’ve had worse in Baltimore PRICE ~10 BOTTOMLINE: The best thai delivery place I have found in Baltimore. I would get pad sew ew again for late night cravings

I went today for the first time. I was excited to find parking almost right in front. Parking can be an issue in that area esp midday on a Saturday. I took my teenage daughter for a mommy and daughter day out and wanted to try a non-chain place. We had to seat ourselves which was different. It’s a small eat-in area but cozy vs cramped. We started with the crab rangoons and spring rolls. We also had large orders of the chicken pas thai and two thai iced teas. The service was fast being that it is so quaint. The food was hot and tasted fresh. I love being able to sit somewhere and not feel rushed. The restaurant is a little drafty but they had floor heaters which helped greatly. I like my meal with no complaints. I ordered my pad Thai hot and it delivered a kick. Was it the best thai food o have had, no. Would I definitely go back, yes. The price was awesome for all we got and we had pad Thai to take home. I give the food 3 stars, service 4 stars and price for what we received 4 stars. Overall it was as close to a 4 star experience. The Thai iced tea is a must, yum!

We all know that S. Broadway is sketch. But this is still some genuinely good Thai food — I promise. In fact, I’d hazard to say that it’s a steal for the price. We got take-out here on a bit of a whim. It was genuinely really, really good. I got the spicy Pad Thai, which was just as good as Pad Thai I’ve had for double the price. The Thai iced tea was also quite tasty and — again — just as good as what I’ve had for a substantially higher cost. The only real qualm I’d have about here is the interior — this place isn’t exactly the Ritz. South Baltimore street isn’t the cleanest and nicest place in the world, and this place isn’t fighting the trend. Just order take-out.

THEREWAS A COCKROACHINMYTOMYUMSOUP A medium sized roach with a very long antenna. I’m not sure how the chef overlooked it. I complained to the owner who was very embarrassed and whisked away the bowl. He came back and asked if i wanted ANOTHERSOUP. LOLREALLY? I completely lost my appetite and it ruined my friend’s appetite too. I WOULDNEVERCOMEBACK nor would I ever recommend it here. ITISFILTHY!

Waited THREE hours for my delivery. Contacted them two different times an hour apart and was told that my order was on its way both times. COMPLETELYRIDICULOUS. I would try to contact them again but they are closed as it is now almost midnight. Update: I got an email from eat 24 this morning saying that my order was canceled by TEW around midnight. I suggest they contact their customers directly.

My co-workers and I ordered in from here using OrderUp and everyone seemed really pleased with their meals! I ordered the panang curry lunch special. The OrderUp menu didn’t specify what fruit and appetizers would come with it, but for the record it was an orange, one piece of crab rangoon, and one spring roll. My curry was GREAT and just the right level of spicy for me(I like spice and ordered spicy), but some of my coworkers thought theirs was a little more spice than they could handle so be wary if you’re not used to it. I also loved the appetizers. I wasn’t super fond of the soup or the thai iced tea I ordered so maybe those aren’t worth ordering in. Overall, this place is a solid thai option… especially since they have such a great lunch deal!

The food here is delicious and the prices are fair. This is definitely more of a place to order take out and eat that the comfort of your home. I’ve had the Pad Sew Ew and Thai Iced Tea multiple times and it never disappoints. It’s great for catering large events. — The Pad Thai and the Panang curry are on point. The family that owns this place are sweet and pleasant. What more can you ask for?

Came with my mom for lunch one Sunday and noticed the entire restaurant was empty and that it was really hot inside the restaurant. Either they don’t have A/C or it was broken, but the door was open and a fan was on. Really. Hot. In. There. The workers just watched us as we stood there waiting to be seated. We ended up grabbing menus and seating ourselves. Once we had service, the service was good. We ordered the shrimp Pad Thai, papaya salad and cup of the Tom Kha Gai soup to share. The papaya salad was good, bland which I actually liked. I find that a lot of Thai restaurants overdo it with the dressing and it can be much. But I liked the natural flavors of the salad ingredients so it was perfect for me. The soup was good. The Pad Thai was a bad choice. I was torn between the Drunken Noodles and Pad Thai, and after trying the Pad Thai, I regretted my decision. The Pad Thai was really sweet, like overly sweet to the point where I couldn’t eat more than a few bites. The noodle texture was too mushy and overcooked. The shrimp wasn’t fresh and tasted a tad old. The prices are very good. I’d return to try something else, but I’d steer away from seafood after experiencing the quality of the shrimp.

To put it plainly, Elephant Wok is simply to THAI for. HaHAH! Ha. Heh. Hoo. Sorry, folks, I’ll show myself out. But seriously, decent Thai food is a rare commodity in these parts, so this place is somewhat of a culinary unicorn. Especially since they deliver. I ordered in for the first time earlier this evening, and the only reservation I have is why it took me so long to discover this spot! Drunken noodles with chicken? Slammin. Taro dumplings? Get outta town. Those babies are sweet buttery satisfaction wrapped up all nice in a banana leaf. Whouda thunk rice, black beans, and taro root would make such a yummy dessert. Check this place out, stat,

The service here was amazing. Smiling friendly faces and food for takeout came out quickly! My husband and I ordered the drunken noodles and sadly the dish tasted pretty bland. I was really hoping it would be amazing but we’ve had much better. I may give this place another chance and try one of the curries next time. FYI, vegetarians, don’t forget to ask them to hold the oyster sauce on the drunken noodles if you don’t want it. They are super accommodating.

This is officially my new favorite Thai place in Baltimore. The lunch specials are ridiculous. For $ 5.50 you get an appetizer(in our case, one spring roll and one curry puff), soup, entrée(veg — price is a little more for meat) and rice, and fruit(watermelon when we ate there). It’s a TON of food — and an amazing deal! The food(we had red curry and pad prik khing) was delicious and the staff were SO nice. The location is also convenient, within walking distance of Fells Point and a lot of parking outside(free on Sundays). All in all, I will absolutely be back here. If I lived or worked nearby I would probably come here at least once every week. HIGHLY recommend it!
