Subway

this is not based on food, but rather the fact that after the great blizzard of 2016 this subway did not shovel their front side walks but instead threw their door mat over a 3 inch block of ice and called that «safe».

The food here is normally bad. The bread always seems old and the soda is always funny tasting. Most subways are so so but this one seems to be bad often.

I’m not sure why I haven’t reviewed this place before, since this is the one I tend to go to the most — Hubs and I stop here after the gym at least twice a week when we’re too lazy to cook dinner (which is a lot, heh).
I’m probably giving it four stars because we’ve gotten to become regulars here, but it’s always nice to walk in the door and have the sandwich guy start on your order without you saying one word. They will definitely remember you if you come in a lot and they’re always friendly — I’ve never seen them in a bad mood even once.
As previous reviews have said, they never seem to be out of anything. They even have the rare and hard-​to-​find soups here, which is good.
Subway is Subway, after all, the food never changes, but the extra kudos for this location are definitely for the customer service. These guys have it down.
Plenty of seating inside, though parking bites (but then, it’s Charles Street, what do you want?).

I came here for lunch on a weekday, and as expected, it was quite busy with the lunchtime traffic. This Subway is pretty standard, so this review is more for the environment. Despite the traffic, I was able to place my order, pay, and get in and out within 10 minutes. The staff here is very efficient and pretty good at delivering what you ordered in a satisfactory manner. Plenty of seating in the interior, street parking on the exterior — would recommend walking here if on a lunch break and looking for something convenient /​fast.

Its subway… what can I say.
I used work near here about 2 years ago, for about 2 years. I always came here for my subway fix. maybe 1x a week for lunch.
So now Im back working near this subway and it’s like I never left. The shop is STILL clean, well stocked they ARE never out of anything. The tea is always full and fresh, unlike some other Subways.
The guys that work here are the same guys that were when I left, and they remembered :-). But they are great… friendly and happy to see you no matter how busy they get.

It’s Subway, so the food is what it is. It’s always clean, the employees are nice and courteous, and they’re fast. I can’t find fault with that.
