Great service

I am not a picky person, in fact, this is the first negative review I’ve ever written. However, this salon is lacking on so many levels, that I had to write something. I have given this salon so many chances for many different services (2 haircuts, 1 massage, and multiple pedis and manis). Simple layered haircuts were completely uneven, which for the cost, is unacceptable. Also, once the hairstylist wreaked of alcohol, which is very unprofessional. The massage was not relaxing at all, since the therapist kept on talking the whole time and was too personal during the massage. At my last manicure and pedicure. the nail technician left my nails with the corners and sides completely unpainted, so my nails were only manicured in the center of the nail with exposed nail surrounding. I asked the nail technician to fix this and she didn’t. She was very indifferent and almost hostile towards me the whole time. I couldn’t wait to get out of there. I have a gift certificate at this salon, and decided that even though it’s free, it’s not worth my time going.

I walked in for a waxing kind of on a whim and because it’s around the corner from my apartment so it was convenient. I figured since it was such a nice place they would do a good job. The girl was super sweet and friendly and the room they take you in to wax is very nice. Unfortunately, I had a little mishap with the waxing and didn’t notice until the next morning that my lip was burnt. It looked like a cat had scratched next to my nose but it was obviously from the waxing. I went back that afternoon and they refunded my money back, checked out my lip and gave me ointment to put on it. They were really nice and really apologetic and said they’d never seen something like that happen before. I’ve had my lip waxed two times in the past and that’s never happened to me before either. Anyway, I would recommend this spa based on how nice and accomodating they were both during the waxing and when I went back the next day to complain.

I have been getting my haircut by Chantele for some time now. She is very professional and a very talented barber. After every cut, I feel like a new man. A man with a very great haircut. Whenever people tell me how good my cut looks, I always say Chantele is the best in the business. As a guy, you might not think of going to a Spa to get a haircut, but I highly recommend you see Chantele. 5 stars.

Great service in a beautiful spa. Only issue is the massage therapist talked the entire time throughout my massage; it was difficult to relax and get into it.

I finally made it in for a hair cut after following them on Twitter for awhile! Molly was my stylist who and she was an absolute gem! She is straight to the point, no frills attitude– but most importantly she listened to exactly what I wanted and did it.
Will definitely be returning.

I recently went back to this day spa to re-​try their manicure services– and was very, very happy! My techinician was absolutely terrific. She was kind, fun to talk with and very good. I got the new gel manicure and it hasn’t chipped or faded in over a week– great experience and pretty reasonable price ($ 40 for the new gel). Very happy that I gave it another try as they have made some improvements and hired much better folks.

I visited this spa today for an eyebrow waxing and a pedicure. I ordered the intensive callous therapy which claims:
«…add this combination of hot towels, Callus Eliminator, and our Cucumber Heel therapy and watch while your calluses melt away.» Hardly. I’ve honestly got to say that my feet felt no better coming out of this pedicure than they dig going into it. #1, where were the hot towels? #2, the only thing different was the brushing on of some solution to my feet, then scrubbing like any standard pedi. I actually had to come home and spend time scraping, Ped-​egging, scrubbing, and re-​moisturizing my feet in order to get to the softness I expect from a pedicure. She didn’t even clip the dead skin around the toenails. Sigh — there goes $ 65!
I’m giving this place 2 stars rather than 1 because the eyebrow wax went pretty good. And their relaxation room was actually pretty relaxing.
About Faces has the same prices and is much more professional and upscale.
I will not return to this place for any of these treatments again.

I’ve been here several times now, for various spa services, and I’ve always left pretty pleased. Everyone is really friendly and helpful. Thumbs up for their pedicures. They do wonders on my super-​calloused feet (gross, I know) and the nail polish is pretty much indestructable – I’ve never had it chip on me. They don’t seem to be too busy on weekdays so you could probably just walk in, but I would recommend an appointment on the weekend.

I had an executive facial and a massage scheduled here. I arrived 5 minutes early and there was no one home. I waited 20 minutes outside until the manager (?) finally pulled up, came up and opened the door and let me in. Granted, she was friendly and apologetic.
The massage was meh, not great. The masseuse had really long fingernails and wasn’t very effective. Smelled like nicotine too. Gross
The executive facial was a little better although the masseuse gave me grief for having a day’s worth stubble on my face. I was always told NOT to shave the morning of a facial? Anyways.
Overall, uneventful and overpriced. Meh.

Where do I start… Okay. first of all. I was pulling my own hair out. its the last minute before my best friends wedding. in wich I AM THE MAID OF HONOR. and I TOATLLY forgot to book ANYTHING for my hair, nails. etc. you get the point. I had been so busy with all the wedding prep I forgot the «me» prep. So after hours of calling around to anyone who could get me in I was in tears. FINALLY a friend of a friend recomended that I call a girl named Angie Braccia from a place called Spa Sante. I thought. what the hell it cant hurt. So here i go calling this stranger at her work and crying and begging her to please take care of me! Turned out that was the BEST phone call I EVER made. One of her regulars had JUST rescheduled and she had time for me to come in!!! Oh my god. let me tell you. I have not changed my hairstyle in like 10 LONG YEARS! I went in without a clue what I wanted! This woman made me feel so comfortable. I mean .I had lunch there, and wine to relax my nerves. which of course were SHOT! She totally took me under her wing and transformed me. I mean even my FACE looks better now. I dont know how she did it. but my hair looks AMAZING! She knew exactly what to do. I got some highlights. and layers and even some black in my hair. (which is way out of my normal) I was so wowed!

I love this place. Good massages, great facials (I recommend the fire and ice if you have resilient skin), reasonably priced waxing, and good pedicures. Their prices are a little more expensive than Zena’s in Mt. Vernon, but the atmosphere is vastly superior at Spa Sante.
