Truth be told I only stopped here because I was on my way home which is far east from Columbia and they were open later than most places. The cashier suggested the small female special 1 dozen $ 20 and a dozen free(2doz/$ 20) I guess u get what u pay for. I noticed that their crabs were already steamed and sitting in the pot. I asked her if they steamed to order because that’s what I was used to at other places. She said no because it was close to closing time and she offered to warm them up for me. Ok, whatever because I’m really craving the old bay. She warmed them up and 2 min later I’m on my way home. I noticed that when I was in the car I didn’t even smell the crabs which was unusual because they have a very distinct, loud smell. Well no wonder I didn’t, they’re ice cold. Needless to say that when I got home I actually had to warm them up which leads me to the size of them. I used a medium size saucepan to do so and was able to fit about 5 – 7 crabs in at a time. Why? Because these things were literally the size of quarters. Long story short, I won’t be returning to this place. I’ll stick with my east side seafood houses. I. e Conrads, Blakes or Chris’. At least the first 2 offers $ 1 crabs which are the size of a typical medium crab and they’re steamed to order. Not steamed, sitting and reheated.

Hey what more could you want? Here you can kill two birds with one stone can buy crabs and crack on the same block. Crab seasoning is very spicy. The crabs are usually good but sometimes need rehab due to inconsistent sizing. When they are good they are so far above good that you will find yourself here the next day and it might you a sec to figure out why. Its almost like they sprinkle crack on it. Be prepared for people to ask you for cigarettes. It is in a very rough area. Take out only.
