Wasn’t as big or crowded as I expected, but it was something to do. The parrots were cool. Could use more than one or two food vendors.

Pirates. Lots of people dressed as pirates. I was there every day, partially out of boredom– but each day was a wee bit different. There were several live groups that did reenactments of on-ship battles, ship battles, sea-worthy music, and tricks. I liked the parrot tent as well. The grog garden was cool. Heavy Seas brewing company was there in full force with their signature Loose Cannon ale as well as Powder Monkey, Gold and Black Cannon. You could also get Bloody Mary’s and other rum-infused cocktails. My only complaint would be it wasn’t nearly large enough. It seemed more like a block party than, say, Fells Fun Fest. But it’s still a cool event to check out(for next year!). Kid friendly. Be advised– it WILL get rowdy around 9pm.

Fun day and as always these fells point festivals it’s either raining or chilly so blame Mother Nature. Not as big as I was expecting. Tons of great food trucks. The live parrots where a big hit I was expecting a little more though. Live music was pretty good two.

Stumbled upon this outdoor festival. Lively atmosphere with people dressed up as pirates. Food, art and other vendors. One stand was for bird fanciers and they brought some cute live parrots. Saw a few fake parrots on the folks dressed as pirates too.
