Very peaceful place combining art, music, great design. It is a very small park but the impact is large. If you are at the Inner Harbor just stroll through. When you are there and you see the kids playing and the adults joining in to play the outdoor music chimes, it remind you of important aspects of life like family and the simple things in life that are beautiful. Landscaping is unique. Notice the words on the walking path. I bet you never thought about all the words that sound alike. It is not large enough to drive all the way to Baltimore to see but if you already there it is worth the time to note the attention and care that was put into the design.

A very cute park in an area of town that is much more commercial than residential, and yet there are playthings and activities for the littlest ones. Very neat. If you need to get your kiddies some exercise from running and playing, you won’t do better than this place. Don’t miss the walkways with homonyms carved into the bricks, such as «SWORD» and«SOARED». Pretty cool.

How charming is this little park! Next to the water and museums and tall ships? Made me long for the days when I had little ones who would’ve run gleefully through here, small hands touching everything, big smiles lighting up my heart. Eyes shining with joy and awe. Great park for all the clever design elements and the location.

I stumbled upon Pierce’s park while exploring through the Baltimore Waterfront area. Although I had already walked past, I doubled back when I saw the tunnel of trees. A living tunnel of trees, woven together. I was intrigued and had to walk through it out of interest. The brick paths have words that sound alike, yet have different meanings and inspire thought. I loved this park because it was unique and well thought, it will inspire the same in those who get to visit it. Even grown kids like me.

Must stop! If you’re in the Inner Harbor area, head behind Phillips towards Ruth’s Chris/McCormick & Schmick’s/lighthouse. You’ll pass through it to get there. There was so much design and creativity that they poured into this little area to make an interactive park for music making, relaxing, climbing and learning. The pathways have words that sound alike in our funky English language. FLOURFLOWER. CEREALSERIAL. It’s so clean and well groomed, I hope it stays this way!
