Is this place open for business or not? The hours listed on the website never appear to be accurate as each time I have attempted to visit the store or call during the listed business hours, no one can be found.

I ordered a cake in advance on their website and called right after to confirm it was received. I told them I would pick up on Friday and specified a time and she said that it would be ready. I am now at the business and no one is answering the door. I paid in advance through a voucher. No I have no money and no cake. BEWARE OF DOING BUSINESS HERE

I had the worst customer service experience ever. I called multiple times, with no answer. When I finally got through, the woman put me on hold for 15 minutes. I finally hung up, and called back. I was told they weren’t really open today and that she had answered the phone only because she thought it was related to an order. It was almost as if she accidentally picked up the phone but really didn’t want to. She went ahead and took my order, but seemed completely bothered by the fact that I was placing an order. She gave me minimal help, and offered only the most basic edible image designs. She seemed exasperated with my questions and was completely unwilling to work with me. I finally said this was too complicated and canceled my order– she did not seem to care in the least. Here is the quote from the website on ordering cakes:“Bring your sketches, pictures, fantasy ideas, and we will help design the cake of your dreams. We will also help you select the flavors that are pleasing to you and that will be a hit with your guests. Our talented staff can handle any specialty cake need you have. From weddings to birthday cakes, call us for a consultation today.” I got exactly the opposite of this: an exasperated, irritated, unhelpful sales person. I spent 45 minutes trying to order this cake including my wait time. I called Graul’s instead and ordered a custom cake in less than 10minutes. Really unfortunate, Kodee Cakes.
***In response to the comment from Kodee Cakes: I stand behind my review, the customer service was awful, and I should have read all the other negative comments about the poor customer service experience at the old Hampden location. If you’re closed on Sunday, don’t answer the phone. If you answer the phone, offer good customer service — be polite, friendly, and helpful. If you have a customer that could use some guidance on designs, help them — that’s what your advertising promises. No need to pick up the phone, put your customers on hold indefinitely, and then be irritated and annoyed that you have to take their order.

All I can say is WOW. These might be some of the best cookies and cupcakes we’ve ever eaten. I’d never been here and saw it when I was stopping at another place nearby in this little shopping area. I decided to get 2 cupcakes (cheese/​chocolate) and «Ella» (something) which is Nutella chocolate along with an «everything» (chocolate, marshmallow) cookie and a «chocolate almond» cookie. The cookies were incredibly fresh, moist, rich, big and delicious. My husband (quite the cupcake and baked goods lover and expert) said the cupcakes were downright incredible. They were «cake» like and light in consistency with rich, delicious icing that wasn’t sickly sweet like so many other places.
Plus, the people there are so nice, happy and friendly!
Try it. You’ll be glad you did. I’m just thankful this place isn’t closer to our house or I’m afraid I’d be there every day.

So we were lucky enough to hit this place on $ 1 cupcake day. They didn’t have many choices (vanilla cake with either vanilla buttercream or chocolate buttercream), but I must say the cupcakes we’re pretty darn good. We tried one of each and the cake was moist and the icing was really nice and not overly sweet.
