This is a friendly little place but… regular coffee is self serve and it tasted like it had been sitting all day. Mushroom quiche was decent but nothing I would return for.

BEST Iced coffee around. Owner is sorta rude/cold, but the rest of the staff makes up for her weirdness. Dining area never seems clean, but maybe thats b/c I tend to visit during the busiest parts of the weekend… Friends have loved all the«goodies» ive brought to dinner parties.

I just had an almond croissant that melted in my mouth. Best thing ever. Got a vanilla latte too. Not super strong but nicer than one from Starbucks for sure. Service was a little snippy but that’s okay. I’ll definitely be going back.

This is one of my favorite coffee spots in Baltimore. Their croissants are amazing — definitely try the ham and cheese — as are the macarons and cappuccino. One of these days, I have to try one of their cakes, which all look incredible. Every time I’ve been there, whether with my husband, on my own, or with friends and their young babies, the owners and staff have always been exceedingly friendly and accommodating.

Right off of Falls road, this is an adorable little bakery. When I say little, I mean tiny. I think there’s maybe 3 – 5 small tables and it didn’t seem as if anyone was sitting around. I think of Boujour when I need to pick up a little pick me up, as a small gift for a friend, or when I need to pick up a birthday cake for friends! When I stopped in to grab a birthday cake, the woman behind the counter was so helpful and pointed out cakes that she thought my friend would like. Based on her recommendations, I grabbed a chocolate mousse cake which was delicious. On another day, someone brought in a delicious French apple tart to work– of course it was from Bonjour! Their macarons were the best macarons I’ve had in Baltimore! I’ve recommended Bonjour to a couple of different friends, and I don’t think they’ve disappointed anyone yet. Absolutely delicious!

Stale croissant, watery coffee, rude staff. Tossed the food immediately. Even Starbucks warms its food now…

Super cute little French bakery on Falls Road. It’s purple, you really can’t miss it! It’s a bit small(there are some tables inside and some chairs outside on the patio), but they have a lot of baked goods in the display case and also on stands on the counter, both savory and sweet — tarts, cakes, quiche, croissants(including almond, which is my absolute favorite!). They also offer espresso and coffee drinks, although I didn’t order one today. I just had an almond croissant, because as I said, they are my favorite and I am so happy to have found a place that does a good one! There is a $ 5 minimum for credit cards(which seems pretty common in this city, to be honest), and I happened to have cash. My croissant was $ 2.75, which I think is what I paid for similar fare at similar, small, independent bakeries and shops in other big cities. Definitely going to be exploring more of their offerings in the near future.

We went here after we ate breakfast… Big mistake! Should of just skipped breakfast and had delicious pastries! Also, I went with my sister and she gave her card to pay… Me «I will give you a horrible review on Unilocal if you take her card» so here I am! Dreamy, delicious, heavenly

The most amazing pastries! The sweet cheese’ strawberry shortcake and the muffins are heavenly. It’s dreamy good! They have a Gluten free chocolate cake that’s so good too. Authentic French baked goods. And family owned. The manager that opens is the nicest and will tell you all the descriptions.

Yum! Have walked by several times to go to Haute Dog but this morning we stopped in for some breakfast. We got two blueberry muffins, a croissant and a macaroon. They were all perfect — and I will definitely be back for more macaroons! Very friendly staff, cozy little spot to spend a Saturday morning.

This is a wonderful neighborhood business. Service is wonderfully warm and generous and the owner is committed to having relationships with commmunity members which means so much. Everything in the refrigerator case is exceptional. The quiche is scrumptious and rich and the cakes, eclairs and tarts are just so good. I find some of the more American laminated pastries(like the raspberry twist) to be overly sweet but the French staples are right on point. The coffee is regulation tasty. The space is a little problematic for me but the service largely makes up for it. The metal folding chairs are very uncomfortable and the room is often warmer than I would like — nothing dealbreaking, it just means I mostly get carry-out. I hope Bonjour is always around.

This review is long overdue but better late than never right?! I was at the Haute Dog Carte ordering some stuff when I noticed that the Pink building next to me was a bakery! While I was waiting for my order to be done, I decided to stop by Bonjour and give it a try. As I walked in, the place was cozy, though, if you’re tall then you might have to be more aware of the ceiling. The showcase had all kinds of different little treats so I couldn’t decide on what to get. There was an older couple sitting near the door that intervened when I was expressing my indecisiveness. They told me their favorite treats and recommended a few others. I decided to get everything they recommended me. I went home and tried out some of their treats and was pleasantly surprised on how delicious they were! As far as I know, most of their treats are made daily from scratch. The quality definitely exists in Bonjour. A great place to treat yourself to some delicious candies and snacks if you’re around the area!

Purchased a «chocolate ganache dome» cheesecake for a birthday party and it was absolutely outstanding. The best cheesecake I’ve ever had. You can tell it was made with the most decadent, delicious, and most fabulous ingredients possible. It’s an awesome little place with extremely friendly service. It’s absolutely in the the rotation now and I am looking forward to sampling more delicious items.

My family and I came here to Bonjour for some pastries for breakfast. The café itself is very cute, and they offer artisan breads, breakfast sweets/pastries, desserts(little cakes and tarts), hot beverages, as well as savories(quiche, croissant, and flatbread pizza). I loved the fact that the staff here were very accommodating to those families with children. There is limited seating inside, but the place is more than willing to combine the tables for larger parties. I had a cinnamon roll; my husband had the plain croissant as well as the almond one; the in-laws had a slice of Quiche Lorraine; the niece and nephew had a chocolate mousse and a chocolate cheesecake. The croissants were okay; the cheesecake was pretty creamy; and, the cinnamon roll was okay, but I wished there was more frosting/glaze. I was a huge fan of their Quiche Lorraine, as it was light, but it was perfectly seasoned and yummy! I was pleasantly surprised! You can also order their quiches by the whole($ 22-$ 24), so that’s good to know. There’s a hot dog stand next door, in which you can purchase and bring it over to Bonjour to dine in the café(I think they have a little partnership set up in that regards). Definitely a cute little café to check out if you’re in the area. I would love to come back to try out their other quiche as well as their award-winning French macarons! :D +delicious Quiche Lorraine +some free street/residential parking available(has limited spaces in the lot)

After all my visits, I’m still not sure what to think of this place. I can have one of two distinctly different experiences when I stop by depending on who is working. One woman is incredibly pleasant. She greets you as you enter the door and is really what you would expect to find in this cozy, neighborhood bakery. The other woman is the complete opposite — gruff and bordering on rude. One of my first visits in here happened to be with her and in my hungry, curious state, I simply asked what a couple of the pastries were to decide what to order. You would have thought I had asked her to tell me every ingredient used in every baked item in the store in alphabetical order. I honestly groan a little when I walk inside and see her behind the counter. But, on to the more important stuff — my typical order is a ham and cheese croissant and a brewed coffee. They use Orinoco beans and it’s quite delicious. They rotate the flavored coffee offering regularly which is nice when you want to change it up. As for the croissant, in my opinion, it’s not to the caliber of the one you’ll find at The Bun Shop but it’s decent and sizeable. I doubt they’re made each morning because they have that chill to them like a baked good taken out of the display case at Starbucks. But, if the nice woman is working — and you’ll know right off the bat which one she is — she will nicely warm it up for you if you ask and it improves it greatly. I’ve had their chocolate croissant before and I felt that Starbucks’ new one from La Boulange was superior. But what do I know? I also find it maddening that a place that was voted, and heavily touts, Best Macarons by Baltimore Magazine(granted back in 2011) never seems to have them available. Perhaps I’ve just become spoiled by the daily offerings available at Le Comptoir. Overall, I come here because it’s around the corner and I’m sometime I’m too lazy to go elsewhere. Yup, that about sums it up,

What a great way to escape a Starbucks!!! Holy Crap. I thank my friend for telling me this place exists. I stopped in this cheery purple coffee and pastry shop early on a Monday morning. IMG_2208 The barista was super cheery. I didn’t ask for a fancy coffee, just an iced brew(come on folks, I am sure you are not surprised)… It was brilliantly mild and smooth. I didn’t add any sugar — just a little cream. I can do a medium roast coffee without much additions, just most places give me a dark bitter roast. Not Bonjour — these guys use coffee beans from Orinoco, a small, fair trade coffee roaster in Maryland. I did get to see the barista’s handywork as she handed out a few beautiful coffee milk froth designed lattes. I realized as I walked in that I forgot my yogurt for breakfast. Luckily though, they have tons of choices. Not my go to egg sammich, but lots of quiche and pastries. I went with a sweet cheese croissant. They have chocolate one and tons of sweet looking treats, but I like a little my breakfast a little more on the savory side. It was a perfect combo with my coffee.

If you are taking a trip to France and want a crash course in their pastries you should come to Bonjur for a quick study. The desserts are very authentic and very fresh. Good customer service. Restroom is very small but besides that it’s an awesome place to grab a meal

Whether it’s to get over a hangover, or to find something to eat before I create a hangover Bonjour is a wonderful place. I like sitting at the back table with an iced coffee in hand, staring at the passing world thinking, «Maybe I shouldn’t drink so much.» The chocolate filled almond croissants really do wash out the taste of last night’s three-glasses-too-many of Chateneuf du Pape, or the«Sweet Jesus I drank ALL the of the Petit Syrah by myself?! What the hell was I thinking?! How the hell did I get home?! Where’s my car?! Oh… wait…It’s outside. Right. Pat drove me home. He drank at least half the bottle. Christ, I’m a lightweight. Thank God for this chocolate croissant.» The savory dishes are really better suited for trying to get rid of white wine flavors of Gruner Weltliner, or, more preferably, white French Bourdeaux. Try the ham and cheese croissant for this with both berry preserve and dijon side spreads. But don’t think this place is just for hungover wine snobs. I’ve been suffering from everything from margarita to Natty Boh sickness and this was just the ticket to cure all that ailed me… except for the developing alcoholism. I have peanut butter cookies for that.

I’d return but only because the location is the perfect meeting spot and their coffee is fine but the service is definitely not good(rude, actually) and I’m not sure the pastry chef has visited France. Upsetting to know anyone worth their salt in the pastry world would think it’s okay to paint the inside of a fruit tart with cheap chocolate. Remember La Madeleine? The chain«French pastry» shop? Pastries a little worse than that. Better than a Giant Grocery Store, but worse than everywhere else decent. They microwave their mushroom quiches in front of the customers until they’re watery and think that’s acceptable. Basically, not for anyone who’s traveled out of Baltimore(though Baltimore does have one great pastry place: Patiserrie Poupon and the prices are the same as this place which is baffling)! Save your money and go to Patisserie Poupon(near the shot tower in Baltimore City).

Ooops forgot to mention the ad on Unilocal to get a discount on the crepes! Oh well NEXTTIME! Lox and crepes!!! OMG! OMG! I love Nova Lox! Too bad i stuffed myself with a Haute Dog(next door). I will be stopping by next time I am in the area for a savory crêpe… especially with Lox. YUM! I did have a strawberry crêpe and it was AMAZING. The strawberries were dresh and the crème was sweet(but not overly sweet). A perfect dessert after a good hot dog meal. The tarts and cakes are beautiful! I couldn’t resist I had to pick up one(or four) tarts to take home. I will find someone to eat these with me. They are not too far from 83 and Northern Parkway in an adorable little neighborhood near a Whole Foods and a Wine Store. I will be back!
