I live in the area and usually frequent another spot, however it was raining, this place was closest, and I figured I would give another local business a fair shot. I walked in from the cold and rain to an equally unpleasant greeting. When I asked how much a gel manicure would cost, the two attendants look at each other as if to deciding how much money they could squeeze out of me instead of referring me to a service menu. Not only did the nail tech say but only two words to me the entire manicure when telling me to wash my hands, but it’s been only 3 days and my polish is chipping. Really nothing positive to say. Anyone in this area should check out City Nails.

My colleague and I found this SPA by chance and we were worried about the Stars they had. Honestly I don’t know why they got two Stars!!! They are so nice and professional. We left this place very satisfied!!! We strongly recommending Hannah Nail SPA!!!

Lily is the best and she does quality work. I usually just come here for manicures and pedicures, if you need waxing done go to Kim’s Day Spa.

This was really the worst pedicure I’ve ever had. The main reason I stopped in was to fix a nail that chipped, the actual nail not the polish. The technician didn’t even file that nail straight! He literally painted my nails without even filing them level. Some paint was over the cuticles and on some it didn’t even cover the nail beds. My friend also got a manicure and said it was terrible. His nails weren’t buffed shiny and you could still see ridges. Literally so bad we went elsewhere to get them redone.

I would never return to this nail salon. I only went because it was close to work and completely empty(that should have been a sign). Instead of a rant, I will just go down the list of my complaints: 1) Aside from saying«Hello» my nail tech NEVER talked to me. Not to ask me how I wanted my nails shaped or anything! 2) I’m pretty sure that the tools she pulled out of her drawer weren’t sterile so at that point I told her that I just wanted my cuticles pushed back. I didn’t want her cutting with a questionable tool. 3) I picked a dark purple shade of gel polish. I watched the nail tech get the bottle of color that I selected and then water it down with some kind of thinning agent because there wasn’t much in the bottle. Long story short, my nails are varying shades of purple. 4) This is the FIRST time I have ever received a manicure and not been asked to wash my hands before the polish was applied. Maybe it was because the manager was using the sink to wash his lunch dishes(not kidding). 5) The UV gel light is in an odd spot under the manicure station so every time I placed my had there, I was afraid that I would hit something and mess up the polish. 6) To say that my nails weren’t properly filed is an understatement. They are jagged and there is not consistency to the nail shape. Do yourself a favor and walk to ANY of the other nail shops that are in the area!!!

The pedicure I received was OK(though it took over 50 minutes for a basic). However, the manicure was sloppy and didn’t fully cover my nail beds. When I pointed this out, a third, very thick coat was applied that coated my cuticles and got under the nails. I asked for it to be removed and left b/c I wasn’t sure the tech could apply it well. A large time investment for only a partially complete job. I went here based on positive reviews I saw on FB from folks in the neighborhood… maybe they still need to work out some kinks. Also, the smell of incense is pervasive and overwhelming.

This is a brand new nail salon in Federal Hill. They are still hanging pictures etc… They did a fantastic job with my pedicure. A lot of attention to detail. Best of all a great massage. I will be going back here again.
