I’m not happy. Lady’s cut my hair and make me so ugly hair. Im feel bad. And YES!!! I will not go back anymore.

Been there three times with three different barbers and they’ve all been very impressive. Friendly, quick, and incredibly talented. I won’t go anywhere else!

Vinny and his staff give quality haircuts. There’s always sports on TV and the small place is usually crowded. It’s not the cheapest haircut, but they do the traditional straight razor to the neck and offer a beer while you wait. I’ve been coming here consistently for the past five years after I moved to upstate NY. It’s hard to find a quality barber, but Vinny’s is definitely one.

just got a haircut at Vinnys this morning. the haircut wasn’t bad but i don’t have that much hair and my cut only took about 5 minutes or so. when the barber told me the haircut was $ 20 i almost fell over. why should i pay $ 20 for a simple trimming when i’m almost bald. i’ve been to another barber that charged me $ 10 for the quick cut. and others that charge only $ 15 and if you are a military vet you get $ 2 off the $ 15. vinnys is the most expensive haircut in the area and totally not worth a premium fee for a haircut… i will not go back and recommend you don’t either…

If your looking for a REAL traditional barbershop then this is where you need to go. It is a very family oriented shop with great customer service! This is a one of a kind shop that will give you great laughs and a complimentary beer with your haircut. By far the best shop in the 518!

I have been looking for a mans… mans barber shop! Beer on tap and people that can cut your hair they way you want it. The big plus for me was they are open on Mondays. I like watching ESPN while getting my hair cut also!

They have a beer tap to enjoy a nice cold beer while you wait and you will wait if you don’t have an appt. This place it popular with moms with kids and old guys with very little hair left on top.
I have a basic flat top so maybe my view is skewed but been her 3 times and each time I went away happy. I also get a straight razor shave. The 1^st time it was not done that well but I did not speak up because the place was real busy.
The next time I went back I told him where my bad spots were and he took care of them proper.
My only complaint that they could spend a little more time on the neck and ears to get those little hairs that are annoying.
Good work, great staff, prices are above avg but the beer and professionalism covers that.

Awful. The barber was more focused on the TV than my hair. I mentioned before hand I wanted a taper in the back and that my hair was tricky where the sides meet the top. He assured me that he would take care of it and he knew what I wanted. What I wound up with was Guido like sharp lines in the back and around my ears/​sideburns and a Charlie Sheen like feathered bangs in front. I was so fed up with his lack of attention that I said it was fine and left only to go home and fix it myself. I would not recommend going here

In my experience, the place is great!!! Solid amenities (LCD TV’s, good equipment, they use good hair products, etc), the place has a very contemporary feel to it making the experience even greater, the entire crew makes you feel confortable. Appointments are easy to make and their schedule is very flexible. They do take walk-​ins as well but i do recommend you make an appointment. I Always have Dan cutting my hair (been going to this place for 2 years) and the dude is a outstanding and meticulously precise barber, I get what I ask for and the guy has an eye for style, very detailed and gives a «kick ass» fade, by far one of the best fades I’ve seen so far in the capital region. It’s hard to find a barber who can blend in your hair in such a professional way, he makes it look easy. I’ve been to a lot of barber shops and this place is by far the best I’ve been to. Additionally, the only reason their website is out of date is because the change from $ 15 to $ 20 dollars just happened recently. $ 20 is pretty darn good compared to other places, I always get more than I paid for, personally being a native from New York City (where a simple haircut and lineup can go for $ 50 to $ 60 USD), this place is well deserved of a 5 Star rating.
