UPS Customer Center

I ordered something next day air and I spoke to 3 different supervisor all saying how sorry they are and that the driver came on 3 occasion 1^st time no note (obviously never came) 2^nd time left note even after I left instructions to leave package at the door and 3^rd time left note and apparently it was drivers discretion NOT to leave at my door. I live in a safe neighborhood. Wtf I left specific instructions. All 3 supervisor promised to call back with a solution and never did hence why I spoke to 3. Lastly they told me my item was chosen to be inspected by security and it is out of their hands… wtf I was supposed to have my package 3 days ago and now it’s Saturday so I have to wait until Monday. This is a complete mess. I am beyond upset and dissatisfied with the lack of customer care. Sure they show empathy when you call but does someone actual resolve the issue no…

Takes forever to find and pickup your package here. Reminds me of the dmv. Just use the ups website to schedule another drop off to avoid having to come here and wait 45 minutes to get your package.

You guys are the worst! This company was supposed to ship my package to CA California and instead shipped it to CA Canada, what the heck? Who hires your crew? Overnight delivery that I paid for took 5 freakin days

Unilocal should have negative stars… We got our items at the store and had them shipped to our house. I was emailed a tracking number by the store, so I was able to find out our package was arriving on a Monday. Because we had shit to do, we missed the delivery, had the note on our door saying they will re-​deliver on the next business day by 1pm. It’s now the next business day, 230pm. I check the tracking again. The damn package is now heading back to the sender!

How can I refuse a package that 1) I’ve been expecting, and most especially 2) never even came to my house at all for re-​delivery today!!! I haven’t opened my door and saw UPS, nor saw a note stuck on my door, I haven’t left the house all day and thanks to my newborn I’ve been awake since 530am. UGH!!!
So I basically yelled at customer service over the phone and guess what… they can’t do anything about it because the packages are already on their way back to the fucking sender! All they can tell me is to call the sender and see what they can do. I call the sender, and as nice as their customer service was, they unfortunately cannot ship me the same item until they receive the ones going back to them. They did tell me to call within 24 hours if I wanna find out if they’ve received the package and once they do, they’ll overnight it back to me because of the inconvenience.
All I can say is this better not be an inside job with packages getting stolen and the sender better receive those damn items so they can send it back to me. You suck UPS Baldwin Park!

Came here Saturday morning, we had accidently shipped the item ground instead of 3 day select and needed the package badly.
Unfortunately, I did not request will call pick up, so the gentleman was not able to help me. The package was scheduled for Monday delivery and that was the soonest he can do the will call pick up. Though unfortunate that i could not pick up my package, the wait time was no more than 5 mins and he was very courteous.
Sunday came around and magically the package appeared at my door step! I was completely shocked as it was scheduled for Monday delivery. Everything worked out great and I owe UPS a big thank you!

One of the worst customer service I’ve had. I’ve put in a request twice to hold my package at the pickup center (with no callback of course) and yet it’s still not here to be picked up the next day. This is the third trip to come and pick up the same package at this location and still nothing. Probably the only employee doing his job is the man who opens the door outside. Never eveeeeeer using UPS again.

Not hard to see why the low star reviews for this place. This is now the second time that I ask for a package to be put on hold for me to pick up. After making the 20 minute drive at 8:30am, 30 min after they open. They want to say the package isn’t ready or sorted yet and that I will have to wait longer. I was notified by Amazon that my package was ready to be picked up. When I share this with ups. They stated that the package isn’t ready. I asked how long it would take and they said it would take some time. I asked, 30 min? 10 min? 1 hour? They said they didn’t know. What a mess. They don’t care to provide any type of customer service at all. The person I was talking to was cutting me off every time I said anything. This has become a really frustrating experience.

Bought ray-​ban glasses from official website for my parents and I as Christmas gifts. After rescheduled twice, the deliver date was unavailable. That was US next day air saver. I feel like they never tried to deliver the package. I was waiting for that package everyday but finally I called customer service and they said they will open investigation for lost package. Not sure if Ray-​ban has their logo on the package. But this is the first time UPS lost my package and the most expensive one I have ever got.
They scanned the package on 12/​2, and the original deliver date was ¹²⁄₃ shown on he ups website. For some reason they rescheduled deliver date to ¹²⁄₄ at ¹²⁄₃ night, then they changed again to ¹²⁄₇ Monday. On ¹²⁄₅ Saturday, the deliver date changed to unavailable. I really don’t want to say this, but how can they lost package since the package is always in the same facility or in the car? If they rescheduled it to ¹²⁄₇ they how could they lost my package or changed the deliver date to unavailable…
Wish I could give zero star. Ruined our Christmas.

Each day for the past 6 days, my item has said «out for delivery» yet never arrives. Whenever I try to contact someone, their response is «we are backed up»!
So why make the estimated delivery date 6, 7, 8, 9, 120 days before your company can actually delivery and charge people for a time frame that your LAZY drivers can’t deliver?
THIS LOCATION NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN!

Hate this UPS drivers are lazy ass shit I livening covina and get the shit end of the stick cause they hit the route on the way back my packages never fucking come on time cause the lazy ass drivers think it’s ok to just push my shit off to the next day! Fucking hate this place and hate UPS period. Rip off shipping prices and never fucking deliver on time

I have 2 separate packages from Best Buy that were scanned in Dec 1^st and Dec 3^rd at this location and still show in transit. It’s Dec 5^th today. My 1^st package at least should have arrived.
I can see if they are backed up on mail but they need to hire more employees for the busy Holiday Season. Bad customer service.

My current situation: Waiting in line here for the 2^nd day in a row. Never had I have so much drama with a shipping company. I will avoid AVOID using UPS as much as possible from this point forward.
This all began on Dec 2^nd, Wednesday. I was waiting for an expedited package for a client that was «Out For Delivery» according to their tracking website. I use a mailbox service so someone is there at all times to receive a package so I don’t miss one.
So Wed, 4pm I pass by my mailbox to inquire on my package because the tracking status still says «Out For Delivery» (because who knows if these things are in real-​time). Anyways the clerks tells me that UPS already came and left for the day and that there were 2 packages they couldn’t find on their truck. Ok, no big deal, I’ll just get it the next day.
So Thurs, Dec 3^rd came and went. Same shit. My package is still «Out For Delivery» and never got delivered. UPS dropped off all their packages they had to my mailbox, but mine wasn’t there.
I called their «outsourced to India» customer service at about 5pm to inquire about a location pickup since their pickup center was open for another 4 hours. No, they can’t do that, they said. Had to go the next day. Ok, I’m pissed at this point and so is my client who the package is for. I mean how hard is it to move a package that should be in a particular truck to the lobby of the pickup center? It’s not rocket science or brain surgery. That is just plain laziness.
The next day, Friday, I go to their pickup location. I waited about 30 minutes in line. There was only about 8 people in front of me and 3 clerks. They are f’n slow here! And on top of that, THEY CAN’T FIND MY PACKAGE!!! I already waited 30 mins and they want me to wait another 30 while someone «looks» for it. WTF.
I couldn’t wait another 30 because I have appointments to tend to.
So here I am early on a Saturday morning just to get a package that should’ve been delivered 4 days ago. There’s about 40 people in line and 2 clerks to tend to them. Ummm, it’s the holidays… You know, maybe, just maybe it might be busier… Either they got a shit for brains staffing/​schedule manager or UPS really doesn’t give a shit about customer service.
I got here at 10am (opening time), there were about 7 — 10 people ahead of me. An hour later, there’s still 3 people ahead of me. Slow shit service here…
Funny thing is that half the people in front of me apparently didn’t get their package and mutter some curse words on their way out as they passed me.
UPS = U Piece of Shit. That pretty much sums up my feelings about this company.

This facility is the regional hub for a very wide area near Los Angeles. All of the *drivers* I’ve interacted with over the past decade have been terrific and friendly. Some even go above and beyond standard service to be extra helpful. But as for dispatch and delivery management, there’s either a serious management problem here, or else all of UPS has a serious management problem. (If it’s the latter, then this Customer Center does not deserve being singled out. But nobody at UPS who is reachable can explain where the problem lies.)
More than half the time when I pay for a 2-​hour delivery window, they fail to meet it — by hours. And often they fail to deliver at all. Packages just mysteriously get returned to this facility without any attempt at delivery or explanation. (Even when multiple UPS trucks have delivered to other houses on my street the same day.) This really matters with time-​sensitive shipments, and/​or when it’s a shipment that I must sign for, which cannot be pre-​authorized or delivered to a neighbor (like a wine shipment). I’ve missed many days of work due to this facility’s (or perhaps all of UPS’s) incompetence, with serious consequences. When a company is incapable of fulfilling their promises over 50% of the time, they need to change their systems and management, and meanwhile stop making promises. Again, this may or may not be a problem stemming from central UPS management; I don’t know. If a manager here could explain what the real problem is, if it’s systemic for the entire company, I’d certainly alter this review and not single them out.
Sometimes they’ve damaged shipments (like wine) by letting them sit on very hot trucks all day only to fail to deliver at the confirmed time. Which is especially problematic when it’s a Friday and they inexplicably return the package to this facility where it sits all weekend, only to go back into a hot truck again the following Monday.
I’ve lost count of the number of times Customer Service reps have assured me that a dispatch manager (or whatever the title is) from the Customer Center would call me directly to explain what’s going on and rearrange delivery promptly. But the number of times someone has actually called is easy to remember: 0. I’m done with UPS, whenever there’s an alternative.

They lose packages pretty often and the customer service is pretty horrid. The extra star is for the delivery people, they’re actually pretty good.

Horrible customer service. UPS failed to deliver a package not once but twice. Wen to this facility to pick up since it was supposed to be there. The package was supposed to have been delivered yesterday and received confirmation that was to be the case but, late afternoon I receive notification that the package didn’t even make it to the truck and caused a delay. No one could give a delivery date or time despite this was an expedited shipping. Despite the fact that the lady at the counter helping me was going to look for the packet, the other guy decided that they still got time and to wait for the packet to be redelivered but, no date for that redelivery was provided. Note this is the second time the shipper has sent the packet, the first one was lost at their warehouse and sat without being scanned for over 4 days. I filed a missing package which the told it will take 8 working days for them to sort it out. Not good. The shipper recalled the shipment and sent another that was not delivered and got an exception. The guy working the counter was nothing but an ass and has not an inkling of customer service. To make a long story short, they didn’t even know where the package was sitting at their warehouse since the only record they had was it was at their warehouse. Then the same asshole guy told that it was the holidays and packages may get lost or misdelivered. I said to that could happen once but TWICE? I feel sorry for the shipper because they lost the sale due to UPS’s negligence. I spoke with my wallet and told the guy to send the package back to the sender and that I will buy the merchandise for a local merchant, albeit a little more expensive ($ 14.00) but you just can put a price for piece of mind. UPS is preposterous and their customer service and service overall leave a lot to be desire.

Customer service in front is non-​existent! The homie works and I’m sure he’s on point in the back. Coming off work from the hospital to sit here while traffic builds up, isn’t something I have time for.

I’m very upset at ups I’ve been tracking 2 packages all day yesterday coming from the Baldwin park location. Received one then I see the other one is marked as
The receiver refused the delivery. The package will be returned to the sender. I didn’t received any note on my door neither. Not a chance I was at home all day yesterday. I call and they tell me the package was damaged? So they returned it to the sender. So why wouldn’t have they said that in the first place and not blame it on me. Super unhappy. Will be filing a complaint.

HORRIBLE horrible horrible!!! The mixed messages you get on their ‘infonotices’ are horrible. They said they’d deliver something during a certain time frame, and they didn’t hit their mark, not even close. (Please be home between 10 and 2pm… they arrive at 5pm. I took the day off of work figuring that I could multitask at home.)
WHY is there a 4 HOUR WINDOW to deliver packages? That seems SO inefficient and obnoxious. Honestly, driving around delivering packages isn’t difficult.
And, regarding packages that need a signature from someone over 21, MOST PEOPLE WORK DURING NORMAL HOURS. You have gotta be crazy if you think that I am going to take a day off of work to be HOME in order to receive this package.
When I call to reschedule a delivery, he seems completely agreeable (original due date was Monday). The next day (Tuesday), as I needed to go to the airport during part of the day, I ask them to keep it at their office. However, the assistant tells me that I am only allowed to make ONE change on the delivery of the package… afterwhich it will be returned to sender. WHY WASN’T I INFORMED ABOUT THIS BEFOREHAND?
I am done with this company, and if you are reading this, please do NOT give them your business unless you have someone who wants to stay at home all day waiting for them to arrive casually at your house when it suits them. Simply horrible.

I have no idea why this place has such horrible reviews. Due to my addiction to online shopping (hello Amazon!!!), I’m always here returning package and I’ve never spent more than 5 – 10 minutes here. Usually there’s only 1 or 2 people ahead of me so I’m in and out rather quickly.
The guys who work here are awesome and are always friendly and courteous. The last time I had some things I needed to return but didn’t have a box and went in prepared to pay for one. The gentleman who helped me got a used box from the back, took off all the old labels and using a box cutting knife, he made me a custom box to fit all the items. If that isn’t great customer service I don’t know what is!
