Laidlaw’s Harley-Davidson

On September 23, 2015 I was involved in motorcycle accident that left my bike pretty damaged. I took it to the only place I trust to ensure my bike gets the best treatment, Laidlaw’s Harley Davidson! Tricia Brown was there from the beginning all the way until I got her back. Her patience is second to none… every time I called, she never made me feel like I was bothering her. She gave me the updates and told me exactly what was going on. Thank you Tricia for handling my situation and keeping me I the loop every step of the way. I also have to give a shout out to the man that put my bike back together, Martin Richards. I went back to see what parts I can salvage and I had the honor of meeting him. He did a phenomenal job on my 2015 Breakout! He took the time in telling me what he did to her and that if I felt any issues, I could bring her back and he would adjust anything I feel out of place. Let me tell you, nothing feels out of place. The bike runs great and feels new!

Ok this is my first review on anything and I have tell whomever will listen; If you own a Harley motorcycle, most have always want to stay away because hi prices of parts and service, well I am the same, but here are the differences, 1 when you visit Laidlaw you will be always greeted at the door, not to sell you but like family, I am an old biker but I don’t like doing a lot of things to my bike by myself, and I don’t also want to spend a lot of money that should be not a great deal to do, yet when I have a question the staff is ready to answer and serve you the owner and all his family is there but they encourage for the staff to help and take time with you, I met Steve the parts manager about 2 years ago and he has always been there for me, and Doug one of the parts guy, has helped me more than once, without buying or if I bought $ 10.00 or more he will help you, today 12÷9÷15 I had an issue with my detachable sissy bar he went outside to look at it tried to fix my problem and he finally saw what was wrong and suggested to get it done at service this was around 4 pm well he saved me money by explaining the problem to Ty at service they both stayed until almost 6 pm helping me and got me on the road, the mechanic came out and said thank you (Martin), but Doug really went all the way, My hat is off to Laidlaw, thank you all.

Before purchasing my bike I visited quite a few dealers. This was by far the best one. They have excellent customer service, are very helpful and take time to answer all your questions. Edward was the salesman who helped me purchase my first bike. Even now, after 3 months he still makes sure I have no problems. I highly recommend Laidlaws Harley Davidson.

I own a 2009 Softall Deluxe but was recently contemplating on buying a 2016 Street Glide special. I visited two other Harley Davidson stores including the one I purchased my Softail Deluxe from in hopes of getting a decent deal. In the course of doing my research, I was not satisfied with the quotes that I was getting so I went to Laidlaw’s just to check on their prices. Boy was I amazed at the deals that they were offering. I was approached by Edward Sanchez who was extremely knowledgeable, professional and took his time showing all the available options. He eventually got me an awesome deal and I ended up purchasing the Street Glide– awesome bike and handles well. Scott and Matt were also helpful and worked with me to get the best deal that I was looking for.
Equally, the quality of service did not stop there. I was then introduced to Christ at the parts department who was more than helpful and knowledgeable. He even took the time to show us his Street Glide and pointed out what add-​ons I could put on my bike to make it look more custom. I went with what he suggested and purchased some items, which he either installed on my bike himself or instructed me how to do it. Now that is customer service. Were delighted with the Street Glide and we can’t wait to take a long ride.

I just purchased an Iron 883 today from Laidlaw’s. Considering that I’m a salesman myself, you’d think it would be a difficult sale, but I have to say the experience couldn’t have gone any smoother. I would strongly suggest DON (Sales) & BRUNO (Finance Mngr), very knowledgeable, straight forward. Got a smokin’ deal. I regret having even CONSIDERED almost giving my business to HBHD (where they were willing to lose a deal over a helmet and gloves). I’m glad I gave my first new motorcycle purchase to these guys, and would HIGHLY recommend.

This is not the first bad experience I’ve had from Laidlaw’s in Baldwin Park. First, 2014 street glide front and rear tires sidewalls had numerous cracks and Laidlaws gave us shit and saying we were running under pressure. Second time was on a 2002 fatboy… bought a battery from them and the bike died on me so I checked the voltage and it said 11.12 volts so Laidlaws put it on their battery tester and they said it was ok when we noticed there was swelling on the battery and they said it was ok to put in my bike and this is what happened cause warranty wouldn’t cover it! (won’t cover under warranty and it fried the leads on my bike)

I know a place like this can be super busy. But that’s not an excuse to not handle your business over the phone.
I called them a couple days ago, and asked about getting some keys made for my 2010 Harley Davidson Softail Custom. I just bought the bike a couple weeks ago, and it came with only 1 of the barreled keys. (I bought it from a different used dealership, not from Laidlaws)
The guy on the phone was extremely short, and was trying to get me off the phone. He said I had to wait until I got the registration from DMV, stating that the bike is mine and then I had to come into the store, with the registration and my Driver’s license, and it would take 3 – 4 weeks for the keys to be made.
I politely asked him, If i could use the paperwork, from the dealership I bought the bike at, as it has a temporary registration, and he abruptly said «NO» Has to be original registration from the DMV… how do we know that the bike is yours?“
Well to begin with, my name is Plastered all over the paperwork, the insurance card has my name with address and the type of motorcycle, and my California DL has my name and picture on it… How hard could it possibly be?
Well now I have to wait until I get the registration, to have some keys made… but I won’t be going to Laidlaws… I’ll go to the Harley Davidson Store in Riverside… What a major inconvenience…

Went in midday midweek to look for a used bike. I had just sold mine and NEEDED another one ASAP. As we walked in were greeted by the ladies behind the counter. There were 2 dudes (salespeople) who worked there talking as we walked in. I asked one where the used bikes were he pointed me in that direction. I look at every bike they had, about 15. He never approached, no one did. As we walked out the two dudes were in the same spot talking I bought a bike somewhere else two days later.
I hope the conversation was better than whatever commission you would have gotten.

I went to Laidlaw to purchase a gift from the clothing dept for my uncle. They have an unbelievably large selection of clothing and accessories, all very well displayed. The girls that work in the department are super friendly and helpful! I walked away with three items instead of just the one that I went there for. Because of the great customer service, I know I’ll be going back to this store in the future!

Hands down the best Harley Davidson shop I have been at. I just bought a brand new street glide special. The team they have together there is unbelievable! Everyone is friendly with a huge welcome! Excellent service! Patient and extremely helpful. I worked with Rick and he helped me find the perfect bike and it’s awesome! I recommend this place to everyone. Check it out! They won’t let you down!

You know, it’s not often you find the combination of superior service, knowledge, and friendliness all wrapped up in an ethical package. For me and my family, this is the only dealership where we will buy bikes or have our bikes serviced. Laidlaw’s Harley-​Davidson is truly a family affair. I’ve never been there when there weren’t at least three members of the Laidlaw family on the premises making sure every one is being taken care of.
We were in there today looking at a Stage One kit and other items to upgrade our Roadglide. Doug in Parts was extremely knowledgeable and took his time with us, making the whole process a personal experience. We really appreciate how we were not pressured to keep on buying other upgrades and parts for our bike. Doug was all about serving us, not hard-​selling us.
We highly recommend Laidlaw’s Harley-​Davidson for all of your HD needs.

My husband and I went in with a friend to get a part for his bike. My husband has been trying to get me my own bike for awhile. I saw a bike I fell in love with, and Edward helped us out, he was very knowledgeable and patient with our decision making. It was nice not feeling pressured on a big purchase. We ended up working out a deal on a newer model of the 72 sportster I was originally looking at. My husband and I are really happy with our purchase and we had a great experience. I would recommend them to anyone looking for their first time Harley.

Another great Harley dealership me and the hubby like to ride out to and do some shopping. They have a nice size clothing and accessory section upstairs along with racks of great sales, we always find a deal here. This is a nice size dealership with plenty of parking. This is actually the dealership we purchased our Harley from, the whole experience was fantastic. Nothing like a car dealership where you leave out more stressed than when you came in. Easy financing, no hassles, no gimmicks, and even tossed in a free Harley t-​shirt and we all know they are not cheap. Great customer service from salesman to cashiers, and they also have parking lot events.

Purchased my second bike from Laidlaws. Iron 883 sportster. Best experience ever, easy and straight to the point. Edward Sanchez made it easy and pleasant. Great service team, always on stand by. Robin in parts rocks.

Walked in indecisive about what harley i wanted to Purchase. Eduard Helped me out and answered all the question i had about the Street Glide, Road Glide and Dynas. He was extremely pleasant to talk to and and also extremely knowledgeable, but most importantly he was patient with me… as i was unsure about the day of the week i wanted to purchase my Bike.
Long story short, i highly recommend Laids Law for your Harley Davidson needs, as their team members go above and beyond. Eduard was awsome to deal with and i would not hesitate to recomend any of my friends and family members to him. I have delt with other Harley Dealers in the past, as this was not my first Harley purchase, and Laid Laws whole team blows the other dealers out of the water.

I bought my first Harley from Laidlaw’s and the experience was great! I was helped by Don and Bruno both have great customer service! Don answered all my questions and was extremely detailed. I left the store with a 2015 Street Bob. I traded in my 2014 Honda shadow. I couldn’t be happier with the bike and the way I was treated. I live in Hollywood but the drive was worth it. If you are looking to buy a Harley this is the place to go. Face it, Harleys are expensive and everything that comes with them, so be warned lol. But Laidlaw’s gives you the best deals with a no pressure and friendly atmosphere.
Rick in the sales is great, he has a real knowledge of the bike and is super laid back with no pressure at all. Matt Laidlaw (sales manager) also has a great attitude and gives you the best out the door price possible, no games or gimmicks.
Robin in the chrome department really knows her stuff and is the go to person if you are looking to customize your ride.
Edna in motorclothes is great, she is highly knowledgeable of the motorcycle riding gear. Great attitude and friendly service go a long way.
I highly recommend joining their MVP program, that thing pays for itself in the long run.

I had an excellent experience at Laidlaw Harley Davidson. After a horrible customer service experience at Glendale Harley Davidson, the closest location to my house, I decided to look at other dealerships. I walked in and met Matt Laidlaw, the Sales Manager, who was absolutely fantastic. Matt’s customer service was awesome.
I came back the following day to purchase my bike and couldn’t have been happier with my dealing with Matt and his staff. Laidlaw actually gave me a better deal on a 2015 model of the Softail Slim, with better options, than I was offered on the 2014 model of the same bike from Glendale. Matt clearly explained the extended warranty and left nothing for guess work. Matt made my experience simple, easy and pleasant.
I walked in the next day to pick up my bike and much to my pleasure my bike was polished, ready and waiting for me to ride home. After buying my 2015 Softail Slim, Don walked me through the dealership, and Rick went over the details of my bike with me. Robin in the parts department was friendly, informative, knowledgable and excellent as well. Jenn in Merchandising was patient, friendly and helpful.
Having never been to this dealership before, I was treated with respect and kindness by the entire staff, as though I was a close personal friend. Consider me a fan. This place rocks. I would definitely recommend you get your bike from Laidlaw Harley Davidson. Ask for Matt and tell him I sent you.
