I have never in my life spent $ 106 at an establishment and felt as though they were doing me a favor. I have also never asked for a refund from Groupon(they refunded me quickly and without any issue — wonderful customer service!!) but the experience I had with the male employee at Nutricare was truly appalling. I had to cancel my appointment(which I did well in advance) due to inclement weather and he refused to schedule a new appointment even though a foot of snow was forecast. It was unbelievable — he had also taken my groupon voucher numbers so my vouchers were marked ‘redeemed’ — groupon refunded them anyway because they’re awesome. My two phone conversations with this person were so off-putting and considering he is in charge of a colon hydrotherapy spa, a procedure that is obviously extremely personal, he should be kind, accommodating, and polite. What happened to the customer is always right? Sorry I won’t risk driving 45 minutes away in a foot of snow to have an invasive butt cleansing procedure. And with this guy?! NOWAY. Won’t be getting my butt OR my money. What an a$$.

I went for a colonic for the 1st time ever and it was interesting. I felt very comfortable, everyone was nice especially Dr. mike’s mom at the front counter. She gave me very useful exit info for the next two days after the cleanse. I would definitely recommend them for anyone looking to cleanse their system.

I am somewhat confused but mostly irritated at the manner in which I was treated while trying to schedule a juice cleanse pick-up. I purchased a LivingSocial deal for the juice cleanse. I submitted an order and requested a pick up for either the 3rd or 4th of the month. Previous communication about orders had been via e-mail and I expected the same. So, I did not see a voicemail from the company attempting to schedule a date until those dates had come and gone. Upon asking about availability of other dates I received the following response: «First it was 12⁄3 or 12/4, then it was 12/19, and now it’s 12/27, so it seems like your playing the wheel-of fortune. Sorry the wheel has to stop on 12⁄19.» I’ve contacted LivingSocial for a refund. Please, save yourself the annoying run in with a cranky little man. It’s just juice.

Went into the store yesterday for peppermint oil and the man behind the counter pulled out three bottles to choose from. I walked around the store a little to see what was there and it seems like a good selection of herbs, spices, and natural medication. I’ll go back if I need any of these things again.

This is a review of the health food store part of the business. Not the juice cleanse, weight loss, colonic therapy part of the business. I have purchased sundries from this family for many years(back when they were in the Acme shopping center) and they have always been reliable. They are a close knit group, mother/father/sons running the business and have a great selection of natural and homeopathic remedies. They have excellent juice and water selections(evamor, essentia). Interesting snacks, teas, vitamin-infused lip balms etc. If you need omega-3 fish oil or some of those mint inhalers that clear the sinuses, this is the spot. The doctor will make on the spot recommendations. For example if you are getting flu’s lately and ask him what will boost my immune system? he will have an on point recommendation, and most of the time that recommendation will be a game changer. One time a co-worker was visibly anxious, I went out at lunch and got them some pills and it totally calmed them down. Very smart and kind staff, But overall think of it as a slightly cheaper version of the Whole Foods natural remedies aisle.

I purchased a Living Social coupon for Main Line Health to be redeemed before August 13th. I was absolutely shocked by how they treated me on the phone. I had to reschedule my appointment from June to July because I was sick. I rescheduled and they even called to confirm my appointment for July 16th. They recorded the appt incorrectly and thought I was a no-show. When they called to ask me where I was, the man just yelled in my ear and refused my business. He hung up the phone before I could even state my side. I called back and asked to speak the office manager and he refused as he knew it was me. He yelled into the phone and refused my business claiming I had to deal with Living Social instead. I called LS and they were able to refund me but I would never give Main Line Health business again.

I first learned about this place from a Groupon and a PhillyDeal. To my surprise I had a wonderful experience and have already scheduled my next appointment. Leonard was extremely helpful and did not try to pressure sale any future colonics or services. Everything is sterile. Unlike another place I have been to in the past in Center City, the staff was very professional.
