What a little treasure! You can find some really quaint and cute gifts here! Love the unique choices in books! The staff is super nice. I’ll definitely be back!

Why is it necessary to carry books with the F word in the title or some version of it? When I visited recently, two young girls in their parochial school uniforms were there. Hmmm, just wondering if these books are part of the after school bunch reading program? Not very classy.

Since 2003(when they were located on 20th St.), I’ve come to the Green Thumb to buy gifts for my wife. I’ve always bought plants for her, and she still has that first plant that I bought for her back in 2003. Each time that I go there, the staff has been really helpful. The shop has many choices besides plants and flowers too. So go on over there and check them out! You’re sure to find some terrific gifts!

I have gotten a few last minute gifts from the Green Thumb and they were really appreciated by the recipients. The people in the store were very helpful in guiding me to good selections. I also purchased some flowers another time to be delivered and they were over the top great.

It’s no great surprise that this home décor boutique is right around the corner from the Junior League of Bakersfield. A limited selection of upscale candles, cook books, gift cards, vases and flowers are sure to appeal to those ladies who lunch then launch via Lexus. Some scented candles and diffusers I purchased had very limited fragrance, leading me to wonder if items tend to sit on the shelves a while before being purchased. Overall, an appealing shop for those with a little time and a considerable amount of cash to burn(note:the store no longer accepts personal checks).

This little boutique is great for gifts and random little things you dont need but have to have. The only thing that perplexed me is the name. I thought that the green thumb would be some sort of apothecary or cute gardening shop. Nonetheless, a very cute shop!
