No longer open on Saturdays?! What kind of yarn shop is closed on Saturdays? I’d actually review it, but this store seems to be closed any time I’m in town.

Judi made learning to knit a breeze! Her patience and gift for the craft have made me feel welcome and confident in my ability to turn yarn into garments using sticks! I’m hooked!!!

Still being fairly new to the area, I was in search of a specialty yarn shop that also offered lessons. How wonderful it was to find Classy Knits! Judy runs an amazing business– is extremely sweet and helpful. She has a wide variety of specialty yarns, needles, patterns, and everything else you can think of!
There is a large table with comfy chairs located in the middle of the shop, where you can take your knitting or crochet projects and get help, or take lessons. The lessons are very reasonably priced– $ 5 with the purchase of their yarn! Judy and her employee, Beth, are great at walking you through the project, answering questions, helping you figure out your issue (should you have one!) and do it with a smile on their face.
I have been taking lessons for about two weeks now, and it has been so worth the money. I look forward to many more lessons and projects– and highly encourage you to shop for knitting supplies, or stop in to knit– or to take lessons, no matter your experience level!

Lovely yarn selection. My only wish is that the store was bigger. They offer classes but I haven’t tried any yet. They need a bigger parking lot.
