Love how they leave my eyebrows fast and cheap. I never thought I would be comfortable with getting my eyebrows threaded until I found this place.

DO NOT COME HERE for henna, they literally robbed me of my money. The finished product looked nothing like what I asked for, the girl
seemed like she didn’t know what she was doing. The lines were not straight it was super sloppy. The dye never got dark and it lasted last than a week. seriously don’t waste your time and money. my eyebrows were cool though.

Great service !! Everyone was friendly and attended to the waiting clients as soon as possible.

By far the best place to get your eyebrows threaded! Ask for Ravinder she shapes them for you and does a great job!!!

I don’t go here for threading but I have had highlights done a couple of times and also gone here for waxing. Everyone is really nice, warm and the service is great. They take appointments too!

I really enjoyed my eyebrow threading. First time I ever had my eyebrows threaded, the lady was super fast and it didn’t even hurt. Will defiantly come back.

I did not like my shaping, I do not like thin eyebrows in any way. I had the young hot girl. In and out in 6 minutes or so. I have before and after photos.

My go to lady is ravinder!!! She does an absolutely great job and never fails to leave my eyebrows ugly. I totally recommend her!

I’m not from Bakersfield BUT let me say that I don’t mind coming up to Bakersfield every three weeks to get my eyebrows threaded. The job they do is always so precise and great! Thank you

My second time coming here to get my eyebrows threaded and I feel like I’ve made a terrible mistake… They made my eyebrows look too thin!
Fast and easy service. No appointments necessary and the $ 8 deal was a steal!
But personally I will not be coming back and will stick to my original go-​to on Hageman…

I always go here every 2weeks for my eyebrows & upper lip, Shivali is great! She always shape my eyebrows beautifully. I like coming here bec it’s clean, staff are friendly, they’re quick and good, and very reasonable in their prices. Eyebrow threading is just $ 8 and combo of eyebrow&lip is $ 11.
Since Shivali is on vacation, I was hesitant at first to try the other girls, but they are actually good too.

I just recently moved to Bakersfield so I needed to find a new place for eyebrow threading. I found this store on Unilocal so I thought I would give it a try… And I’m soooo glad I came here. The lady’s name is Gerwinder. (My apologies if I butchered the spelling).
Anyways, I told her I like my brows thick and just to clean it up. She did an amazing job. Better than my last place when I lived in San Jose. I’m definitely coming back!

I love this place I have been coming here to get my eyebrows threaded since I was 11 years old (18 now) and have never been disappointed. ‘Nuff said. This is the only salon I trust with my eyebrows. It’s hard to find places to get your eyebrows threaded on a Sunday afternoon and we were too far away from the place I usually go to in Oildale, so I found this place on Unilocal.This place gets you in and out quickly. The staff was friendly enough and they did an alright job. The threaading here was a little more painful than what I am use to. But my brows looked good and symmetrical. I will use these guys again if I am in a pinch again.

Horrible! It is my first time getting my eyebrows threaded (i usually wax them myself at home). It was not painful at all so I’m glad about that, what I am very disappointed in is the result.
I got my eyebrows threaded by a young girl there, she missed a lot of hairs in both ends of my brows. When she was done she gave me a tissue and mirror. (My sister was with me and she later told me that at other places they usually clean up your brows after and if necessary they pluck some as well.)
Well plucking was very necessary! I had to go home and clean up my brows myself.
When I wiped my eyebrows with tissue I asked the girl if she could take more hair off my brows and she said no (what?! Who says no to a customer’s request?!) I was so uncomfortable and mad already I just got up and paid.
After my brows I was going to ask her to thread my whole face since it wasn’t painful, but after I saw how she left my eyebrows there was no way I was going to let her thread my face!
I definitely DO NOT recommend this place to anyone! For it being my first threading experience I am so bummed and dissatisfied. Ugh so mad.

I love star beauty salon and all the girls! They are amazing. I don’t have a lot of hair on my eyebrows but my girl always perfects them and gives them a great shape.

It’s hard to beat how affordable and quick this salon is. I’ve come in the late morning, early afternoon, mid-​afternoon (this is when it’s busiest), and evening, and I’ve never had to wait longer 10 minutes. Usually I just walk straight to a chair.
The chairs aren’t necessarily uncomfortable, especially compared to the threading (it HURTS; I cry involuntarily every time)! I would honestly prefer to get my lip waxed because it’s faster, but who is going to wax my brows & lip for $ 11? No one.
I’ve come to discover that they’re really just good at cleaning up your natural brow shape. If you want a higher arch, or simply symmetry because your eyebrows are naturally not symmetrical, good luck. I will say that I’ve never left with bad looking eyebrows, it’s just not always what I want. Areek (spelling?) has been the only one who has gotten perfect on the first try.
Tip: Make sure you bring cash with you just in case their card reader goes down.

I have been to different threading salons around the Bakersfield area and this place is by far the best one. Its clean and has a very nice atmosphere.
Every time I arrive I am seen within 5 – 10 minutes, the staff is friendly and they do a wonderful job on my eyebrows ($ 8)
I do believe that is a great price for the work they do.
Give them a chance, if you end up not liking your results, your eyebrows will grow back.

Came around 2pm on my lunch. Usually the parking lot is packed, but it was empty. The salon itself is nice and clean. There weren’t any customers at the time I came.

Service is quick. The person that did my brows/​lip was done in 5 minutes (this says a lot since I haven’t had them done since March). My only thing is I wish they offered hand sanitizer. Other than that, highly recommend!
