San Michael Pediatrics

Just like some reviews on Google say, it’s a very rushed interaction, and with it being the 1^st time visiting he gave no warming to the children and asked no questions. It was kind of like dealing with Walmart employees. The front desk staff were very stale and cold as well. 1^st and last visit.

This doctor is okay but not the best. It’s so hard to find quality medical care in a small town like Bakersfield. The thing that I do like is how easy it is to get an appointment. You can always immediately be seen that day or the next day. The location is very far from me though. I’ve been with this doctor back and forth since my son was a newborn. He did my son’s circumcision and he did an excellent job. It was pricey I believe around 450 but who cares when it’s a medical necessity.
This doctor slacks in some ways. He never would send my son to a specialist for his allergies. I feel he thinks sending kids to specialists shows he is incompetent. That’s not true it shows that he wants to get right down to the problem. I would constantly take my son for the same allergy related cough and he would give him the same medicine and yes it would clear him out but that was a short end solution. He never would run any tests or further look into the problem.
He’s a very quiet man and doesn’t give much feedback. You have to practically drag answers out of him. I don’t like that. He tries way too many different medicines as if my son is a guinea pig.
