I love pizza with my entire soul and I feel like Mountain Mike’s has A-​OK pizza.
I don’t eat a lot so its a little pricey for me since I only go for firsts and skip the seconds and thirds. Its a good lunch though– I mean, cause its pizza and stuff

Some of the best chain pizza in town. Spicy pepperoni, crunchy crust, flavorful sauce.

This place is a chain pizza place. I grew up going to one in Sacramento after soccer games all my childhood and I haven’t been back in years, so today I gave it a whirl. It’s right next to my Vons so I put in my order and went grocery shopping for about 15 minutes while it cooked. I loved that aspect of being able to hit two places in one stop. Anyways, when I walked in a realized just how small this location is. It’s only got a few booths and one one TV. There were quite a few people there enjoying their pitchers of beer, though. I definitely would have felt out of place all by myself as there were many groups. The counter girl was OK. The salad bar looked pretty unappetizing. I took my pizza home and it was just a tad overcooked as many of the pepperoni slices were cooked to the extreme crisp. All in all, it was a decent stop and I wouldn’t mind coming back every so often. However, I have had better pizza in Bakersfield for better prices. It will probably be quite some time before I do come back.

We got the pepperoni pizza and wings. I don’t care too much for the wings but the pizza is pretty good. The parlor is sports themed and they always have the game in which is nice. So if you’re looking for a chill spot to watch a game this would be a good place to go, but it’s a little on the pricy side for pizza.

They have one of the best gluten free pizzas that I have had. The crust is way better than any other gluten free crust that I have tried from other pizza places. The price is kind of high, but the quality is definitely there.

First time ordering delivery from Mike’s. I liked the pizzas well enough. The standard pepperoni was loaded which is a nice change from the normal eye strain of looking for the meat. Our combo medium was tiny though and didn’t have a lot of goodies. Price wise… Kinda high $ 40+ for a lrg and medium. In a pizza pinch I’ll call in again but maybe I will look for some coupons!

A large group of us rolled into this place on Tuesday this week, I think we had nine people and we were eating at the noon buffet. It took about twenty minutes to get pizzas out to a point where they were actually keeping up. It seemed like a solid value, the tab was just over $ 80
sans tip. Everyone filled up and it was nice and cool in there.

I have to say their Chile Verde pizza definitely better than what I’ve tasted at other pizza places soooooo good must try! Great service had a great experience here will come again

I came here with four of my coworkers to have the lunch buffet. It costs $ 9.00 and you get a drink, pizza, salad, and bread sticks, and wedges, all you can eat. Sounded like a great deal.
The buffet was supposed to start at 11:00am so we showed up a couple minutes after that. There were a couple more groups of people that showed up just before and just after us. The salad bar consisted of a tray of lettuce, a tray of mushrooms, and a tray that had two rotten cherry tomatoes, and dressings. The rest of the trays/​compartments in the salad bar were empty and they stayed that way the whole time we were there.
So I know you are asking, «What about the hot food»? Well believe it or not, they had none out when we got there. WTH! How can you advertise a buffet starting at 11:00 and not have ANY food when its starts??? They assured us some would be out in a few minutes. After about 30 minutes, they put out a small plate of breadsticks. No joke, 30 freaking minutes. At this point about 12 people had accumulated in the restaurant. Everybody including my party was not amused. Ten minutes later, they put out one pizza, appearing to be medium sized for everybody! How nice everybody got one sliver. Then shortly after, a small plate of wedges. Everybody was still hungry and thoroughly irritated by the time we left this place. I will never go back!
BTW, I went here a couple of years ago and had a great experience at the lunch buffet. Maybe it changed owners or something but it has gone completely downhill.

I ordered a pepperoni like the one on the picture, with extra pepperoni. Got home and found out it was all cheeses and a couple of pepperoni. We we’re so disappointed. Oh well, there are other pizza places to try in town…

We decided to try this location for their buffet and compare it to the one on Brimhall and Jewetta. In their window there’s an advertisement for their buffet that says to try all of their varieties of pizza. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to try very many varieties. I was totally disappointed, but I do have to say the pizza was fresh and definitely good. I don’t think they have as many options on their salad bar as the one on Brimhall. But, it was an overall good experience. I think I’ll stick to the location nearest my home because they serve super yummy dessert pizza, too!

This was my 2^nd time at Mike’s Pizza and each time, I got suckered into getting the «all you can eat pizza buffet» for lunch. It costs $ 9 for all you can eat pizza and salad bar. I definitely know I can’t eat $ 9 worth of pizza or salad, but I get greedy and order this option instead.
Next time I need to recall that I shouldn’t get the $ 9 buffet, but just resort to getting a personal pizza for only $ 6. That’s probably more manageable!

Came here after my nephews baseball game, good service and I’m sure the pizza was good I can’t eat pizza but it sure looked delicious. I enjoyed their salad

I would like to preface this with saying that I rarely ever take to the internet to bad mouth a business BUT Cara bit into this in her pizza. I called and talked to an employee who told us the best they could do was either bring us a new pizza or give us 15 percent off for a new pizza. We’ve had a long day and didn’t want to wait for another. So I talked to the owner who argued with us but agreed to give us a free pizza. HOWEVER, he then called us back twice to yell at us and told us there was no way anything was in our pizza. It is clearly a large piece of wood which he claims came from the box. Call me crazy, but this didn’t come from the box. I would have been happy with just a free pizza and an apology without any attitude.

This is actually my favorite pizza place in Bakersfield. The Robber’s roost is my favorite pizza here!!! Highly recommended. We usually add some Lousianna Hot links to our pizza because it makes it that much better. They also have a lunch buffet if you’re not too sure which pizza to get… But you will not be disappointed!!! Enjoy!!!

Liked it. Nice clean and efficient and cool fact is they have calories for every thing. On their website they have calories for even green papers so if you are watching calories you know what to eat. Tasty hot pizza to dine in or take out both. I like dine in so I can enjoy the freshness. Everybody working there are very helpful and serve with a smile. So we have nice tasty pizza, nice chicken wings, clean place with happy workers and happy customers. Cool right :)

The guy who answered the phone really was kind and helped me with deals and arranged the order in such a way that I got more food for less. The pizza was as good as any if you are familiar with MM. They have free wifi and huge TVs for watching games. The only negative is that the carpet gives away its age, needs to be replaced. Overall, though, a positive experience.

I came in here around lunch with a coupon and ordered a pie. The pie was decent but they wanted 20 bucks for a large special. I have no idea how they charge high class prices for an average pie made by a pimply faced teen. I could think of 7 different shops in town that can do better pizza for a lower price.

I swear this is the best pizza I ever had. Thick with super bomb crust. Toppings galore great environment for watching sports.

Décor is like any other sporty pizza joint. The service is mediocre at best. And to make things worse… Food poisoned experienced by everyone in our group. Stay away from this place!
