I had a loud squeak on my Kymco MXU-​300 I had bought it from Darren 2 months ago. I brought it down from Tehachapi. Darren took it for a ride and couldn’t hear the squeak. He brought his mechanic to listen and we were able to hear very faintly. He thought it might be the rear shock. He took into the shop and after about 15 minutes he came out and said that he located it and fixed. It was the seat latch. He filed the rough spot and lubed. The squeak is gone and no charge. Darren and his crew went the extra mile to find and fix my problem.

Darren and staff have treated me great and saved me money every time I visit Let’s Ride. I compare all the shops in town before buying parts or getting service and Let’s Ride is where I always end up.

Darren has a way of manipulating the truth to make minor issues seem critical. If you get your bike fixed here it will get done properly but you will pay top dollar for it. They will also compel you to get things fixed that don’t need to be. I would not trust them. R. Tillery Power Sports is a good alternative.

Brian and the gang saves the day for me. Needed my toys fixed b4 Thanksgiving and had a unreasonable time for them to finish… they finished well before the holiday very fast and great work done a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. thanks again guys

Darren is the biggest crook and deadbeat I have ever met. No one that knows him has any good words to say about him. I have had the worst experience I have ever had with a company. He even went so far as to come at me as if he was trying to start a fight which I wish he had because I would have laid him out. I have talked to many different motorcycle professionals in Bakersfield and every single one of them thinks he is a terrible person and basically should just be taken out back and shot. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU CAN AVOID IT.

I took my FJR in for scheduled maintenance, installation of Heli Bar risers and a custom install of a battery voltage sensor. I had been looking for a good mechanic for some time. I was very pleased after speaking with Darren and felt very comfortable entrusting my bike with the Let’s Ride crew. The work product was professional and completed the same day.
