Five stars is not enough! The ladies are as sweet as their ice cream, Popsicles and flavored drinks. Their food(tostilocos, tortas, etc.) are so delicious it’s hard to just pick one.

my nine year old described his cotton candy ice cream as icy heaven I would have to agree! Great tasting ice cream and palettes, made fresh with many options to choose from. flavors range from sweet to savory with some unique flavor choices on the palette items ranging from the standard fruit choices to the exotic(Red currant and Tamarindo) we have been here at least six times and never been disappointed the neighborhood is a little rough but food in bad places is always better!

This place is good! The paletas(Popsicles) are the best! The ice cream is top notch. Other items are available on their menu, but I highly recommend you try their paletas! Better than all the places I have tried in Los Angeles. It is quite a ways from home, but whenever I am in the area I will make certain to stop in. Just happy that they have a smaller location on White Lane(my favorite) which is closer to home.

Visited on a weekday night around 9pm. There was a line as soon as we walked in but it went by fast. We ordered a diablito, 3 paletas(mango chile and strawberry cream cheese), and 3 scoops of ice cream(pistachio, changos and egg nog) for $ 11 and some change. Everything was so flavorful and we LOVED the creaminess of their ice cream! The mange chile paletas were far spicier than the diablito. I would have preferred it as a cream based paleta. There are a few tables both inside and out but we didn’t stay. We will definitely be back to try all the other yummy looking flavors available!

This place makes great ice cream bars, fresh fruit slushy’s, tortas, fruit juices, nachos, and a variety of fresh fruits served with spicy chimoy– lime flavorings, or you can opt for a sweet treat and settle for the traditional sweet cream and yogurts alongside the fruit. All the ice cream bars are distinctly unique. They even offer chocolate dipping. With all that good, sweet stuff, my only problem with this place is its lack of organization. It’s layout is a bit chaotic. There’s only one line, so everyone stands in line upon entering, then when your being served, you leave the line to place your order, customers in line behind you continue to move up, then you have to go back and crowd in the same line to pay. When you finally get to pay, there’s not much sitting, and the tables that are opened are usually dirty. Thus the 4 star rating, but I’ll be back for those unique paletas!

Yes, most employees speak Spanish, but they understand English very well and it has never been an issues. I speak no Spanish and they label pretty much everything in both languages. Their ice cream I have to say is the best in town! And at a great price for made fresh ice cream made in store(the chocolate taste like Mexican chocolate). 1.50 a scoop. I also in enjoy the Horchata and fresh fruit ice bars(La Rosa style). They do have food but we go for the ice cream.

I came here from the southwest area just for their diablito & it was not disappointing. It had fresh mango, candy mango ontop, and a chilie tamarindo stick. Super great service(in Spanish) and the pricing is fab!

Paletas or popsicles for the Spanish impaired are the star. The place having over kinds to choose from ranging in various fruit and milk flavors. The best part is that all the paletas have real fruit mixed in for the fruit flavors. The milk having there base ingredient mixed for example cookies and cream chunks of Oreos mixed in. Ice cream in many flavors and several types of fruit salad fresh chopped and made only when ordered. Chips and cheese also available. The staff is very friendly and works hard to get the orders out fast but the place is small and can be overwhelmed. Since they mostly cater to the Hispanic community of Bakersfield the main language spoken at the establishment is Spanish. Don’t say I didn’t warn you. The parking lot can be very dangerous and crowded please be careful At this location many other hispanic desserts are served the ensalada de fruta con crema is AMAZING. You can also get your fix of agua frescas and different fruit plates with chile and limon
