Tuesday morning, June 28, 2016. Two young ladies were shopping in the store when, the rude and cruel counter girls made an inappropriate comment insulting the child of a hearing impaired couple as she was shopping. One of the counter girls made a swearing comment as she rolled her eyes and mocked this shopper. The two counter girls working in this store need to lose their jobs and be forced to volunteer with those less fortunate! This incident seriously had an impact on me and shows lack of judgement in the hiring and training process of Bagleicious. Customer service and respect are paramount when running a business especially in a small community where one never knows who is observing!

I grab bagels from here pretty often. They’re usually soft and they use A TON of cream cheese which I absolutely love. They have a pretty wide selection between bagels, muffins, sandwiches, and other deli-style breakfast foods. The sandwich’s are pretty pricey but it’s manageable for how local they are(I live a few blocks away). They are usually busy on weekend mornings, which is expected, but if you’re in a rush(IE need to catch a train) give yourself a few extra mins!

*Upgrade* Okay, so the sammys here are expensive. So, I don’t really come here for that any more. But, this is my go-to spot now for bagels. The past several times the customer service here has been on point. And they do the bakers dozen so that means 13 bagels, a.k.a carbs for days. The boy and I will each have one and freeze the rest. The bagels hold up super well in the freezer and toast up as if they were fresh. Just remember to slice them before you freeze them. I’m a fan of the new Pretzel bagel and also really dig the sunflower seed bagel. What’s even more super is that the past few times I have come here, they have also thrown in a side of their cookies and cream cream cheese. I’l let you in on a little secret — before they threw in this freebie, I had never had cream cheese before. Yup, you read that right, a Long Island girl born and raised who had never had cream cheese! The people who work here are smiling and friendly, good place to get your bagel fix.

I’m usually eat here 2x per week. This place is the best place to get a bagel, cream cheese or any sandwich. Staff is always friendly as is the owner John who is always willing to go the extra mile on any order. Prices are reasonable and food is always fresh. Location is great, nice area to walk around if you like that village feeling that Long Island has to offer.

I gave Bagelicious a try this morning after getting my hair cut at James Anthony’s barber shop. Walking in there was chaotic, since there is a self-serve coffee at the back of the line, then a number of people taking orders, then a cashier taking the submission of orders and payment. I wanted my usual breakfast sandwich and coffee, so I wasn’t sure if I should make my coffee first and let people pass me in line, or order my food then make the coffee, or order my food, receive the slip to submit at the register, pay, then make my coffee. I decided to do the latter. Then when I went to make my coffee there was none left. As for the price, they are very expensive. The woman in front of me said something to the cashier about how expensive her meal was, then I wound up paying $ 11 for a bacon egg and cheese on a roll, large coffee, and fig bar. I didn’t mind paying it, but it is more than I’m used to for that. I have to admit, though, that the sandwich was really good. The bacon was perfect and I enjoyed the sandwich enough that I’d go there again if someone I was with wanted to, but I’ll stick to Railroad Bagel Express.

Good coffee selection but hate the fact that the bagels aren’t made fresh in the store. They drive them over from the east meadow location. I switched to bagel express near the train and have found my new home.

Well-sized shop with ample selections in terms of bagel and coffee flavors, but the prices are surprisingly high($ 5 for a bagel with butter and a coffee is more than most of the good places in the city), and the service is sometimes hostile/rude and often somewhat incompetent. My co-workers and I stop in frequently in the morning, and I’d say about 50% of the time the order is screwed up somehow(wrong bagels, wrong spread, forgotten item, etc.) Could be a lot better if they put some more attention into it, I think. Pro-tip: if you want iced coffee, you have to ask one of the folks behind the counter for a cup/ice.

Since I began working in Babylon I discovered this little gem of a bagel shop. I average about 2 egg sandwiches here a week, and was SHOCKED to find out that my two egg, bacon and cheese in a whole wheat wrap went from $ 5.00 to $ 6.50. That’s just a outrageous for a bacon egg and cheese. I inquired and simply got a «yup, the prices went up» Sorry guys, you just lost a regular customer.

Delicious bagels and cream cheese BUT the service line is a disaster. The kids behind the counter are in no hurry to move things along, sometimes on their phones or chatting to each other, and there is no system in place to make things run smoothly. For example — if they had one person take orders from the line with an order slip, then a couple of people fill the orders and then pass that slip down to one person on the register it would move things along a lot faster. Currently you place an order with one person then stand in an incessant line until that person gets around to fills my the order and giving it to the cashier. It can literally take 20 min to get a bagel with butter. Also — the place could use a deep clean and maybe a renovation. Paint and ceiling tiles make it look older than it is and the color scheme makes it look dirty

Coffee was ok. Lunch Bagel tasted like a Day Old? Not the friendliest place around.

Where do I begin. Bagelicious is a local place in babylon. This was the 2nd time we called to get an order delivered. We are located down the road and asked if we can have it delivered. He answered sure. Then the man who was in the phone was short and curt when I was trying to order around $ 20 worth of food. When we were done ordering we said that’s it… Then he proceeded to say«oh no way… YOU need to order more stuff or to double this order for it to be worth it for us». I mentioned that I ordered less food last time and they delivered it. They also accepted our credit card payment over the phone last time and then insisted on cash the 2nd time. The guy then proceeded to not want to give us the total because he was«busy» and didn’t have time. Really?!? I’ve never heard of such a thing. Im so disappointed by this and will never order from those guys again. If they have a criteria they should stick to it rather than be distasteful over the phone with their condescending remarks and contradictions to policy. 6 thumbs down! Don’t bother.

Barely any cream cheese on the bagels. I like to eat my bagel open faced and not as a sandwich and there was only cream cheese for one side. This happen 3x in a row. I won’t be going back unless it’s for coffee.

I like this place for all the options they have, but I usually don’t like my bagels from here. The bagels are usually not that fresh tasting. I always go for a roll with my egg sandwich and it come out good. They have pour your own coffee which is nice, and plenty of drinks and food options to choose from. Just wish their bagel game was a little better.

Visit Date: May 4, 2014 I can’t review the bagels since I didn’t eat one when I came here. My friend was hungry when I met her to hang out in the village. I wasn’t too hungry because I had eaten already but I still ate a pastry. My pastry was delicious. A fluffy, slightly crispy croissant with strawberries inside and a drizzling of tasty icing. The strawberries inside were sweet and tangy and they tasted great. I didn’t like their coffee but I’m hard to please when it comes to a cup of coffee. I thought their coffee was too weak.

Great bagels, good options on the menu, fresh coffee and nice service. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience from a small town bagel shop!
