What is this place??? Reflexology is the act of applying pressure to the feet and hand with specific thumb, finger and hand techniques without the use of oil or lotion. Except this place does all over the body, arms, back, and head with minimal lotion or maybe it was oil? Unlike a regular massage at a Full Service Spa, no need to disrobe here… yes, you keep your clothing on and it’s half the cost of a 1-hour spa massage too! $ 35 for an hour!!! Make an appt or Walk-in! Just wear something comfy or loose… like what you would wear to the gym or yoga. Jeans would probably not be comfy. Very nice décor and ambiance. They take you back to a dimly lit small room with a big, comfy recliner, which you’ll recline back in while your feet soak in water. You can request various pressure or if you don’t want your face or buttocks to be included. If you do allow them to massage your face(it’s not like a facial massage by an Esthetician), then EXPECT that all of your make-up will be rubbed off…(goodbye Lancome foundation!) They even stick their fingers inside your ears like human Q-tips and swirl them around… yes, kinda weird. I didn’t care for this part. They spend much time massaging feet and legs to the point where you almost fall asleep… then they start slapping your legs… I hear that this is supposed to be good for blood circulation. I don’t know about that, but I don’t like being slapped like a sirloin roast. They massage your scalp very nicely. Then it’s time to flip over and face down into the recliner with a hole cut out of the head rest. This is when they work on your back, arms, buttocks, and legs again. I felt like it was more rough than I usually get at a Beauty Spa… I think I would tell them next time to go light. It was a full hour and you feel like butter. I would come back here again, very inexpensive and the staff was very friendly.
