I decided to try this place for the first time and was happy I did! When I first walked in I immediately liked the vibe and décor. Upbeat, clean and interesting. You can see the ovens and food prep area so I don’t think anyone will be doing anything gross to your food(ahem, dominos, cough). The staff were friendly, polite and energetic. We got a large pepperoni and sausage. Very tasty, the sauce is light but very flavorful. The crust is thin but not overly. I usually don’t care for thin crust because it’s too crunchy, like chips, but this one was not like that at all. I am positive we will come here again. The only thing is Unilocal says they deliver but they do not. Take out and eat in only.

The pizza is really thin which is delicious and the grinders & salads are good, too. Everything is always fresh and the staff always seems really happy to be working which you don’t come across often!

Very good thin crust pizza. Generous amounts of toppings a nice variety of speciality pizzas to choose from. Very friendly counter staff. There are a few tables inside if you want to enjoy your pizza fresh from the oven. If you dine in it is BYOB or they have coolers with different types of sodas. If you get the pizza with roasted garlic it is great but a little goes a long way. Overall it is a top choice for thin crust pizza in the area.

So I come from the area of Philadelphia where there is a bevy of Pizza choices, and this place holds its own pretty well. I’d have to say this is probably some of the better pizza in the area, just as good as Naples. The crust is a little thinner and crispier than others, which I love. Definitely give this place a try.

Pizzeria Da Vinci is a local star– arguably the best pizza in the Farmington Valley, in my opinion. If you haven’t been, I’d recommend trying the baked potato pizza, which is delicious and I can’t find anything quite like it anywhere else. If you’re not in the mood for pizza, the Italian grinder is phenomenal(get it toasted). The meats are warm, savory, and fresh, and getting the bread toasted prevents the red wine vinaigrette from soaking in excessively and making it soggy. Prices are very reasonable– comparable to most other pizza joints in the area but I find that the quality is a lot better at Da Vinci’s.

This was my second time getting Da Vinci pizza and it was overall not bad! My wife said she likes it more than Naples in Farmington, but I think she’s out of her mind. We got a large half pepperoni pizza to go. It was decent and convenient for me so I’d consider getting it again. I’d much rather have Harry’s BIshop’s Corner though.

Quite simply, the best pizza in Avon. It’s not worth comparing it with, say, Harry’s Bishop’s Corner or Pepe’s. Each of those places have pizza I love as well. But I really look forward to takeout from this place. The BBQ Chicken pizza is the best around with tomato sauce and chicken that is covered in sweet BBQ sauce(instead of the BBQ sauce covering the whole pie). It’s terrific. My kids go ga-ga for the bacon pizza. Surprisingly, the Mona Lisa is actually the best. Broccoli Rabe and Sausage so good that you won’t miss the red sauce. Seriously, the first real white pizza that I just adore. Add to that fast service, great cannolis and terrific salads, and you’ve got a neighborhood pizza place that deserves more kudos than it receives. Consistently GREAT.

Some of the BEST pizza I’ve ever had in the entire state! Delicious pizza, fresh toppings, and great customer service. When I want pizza, this is the FIRST place I think of and I’ve NEVER been disappointed. I can’t say enough good things about this place: D

Traveling from Canton to West Hartford. Kids wanted pizza picked up on the way home. Saw this reviewed on Unilocal as a nearby Pizza Restaurant. Service, even for take out, was amazing. Friendly, beyond polite, even offered a free slice to try the pie. New York style this crust that needs to be folded. Everything was fresh and delicious. Kids gave it 5 stars, I gave it 4. Good value and both finicky kids and adults loved the product. It was also extremely reasonably priced.

Located in Avon, CT on RT.167, this has become our new favorite take out for pizza. Thin crunchy crust, good sauce and cheese… Very consistent, owner operated. Interior — About 8 tables inside, does get hot inside during summer months. Price — $ 15.00 for a large pizza. Overall — Great value, good service, and quick turnaround for take out…

Good pizza. From 2 – 4 p.m. on Monday-Thursday, the student discount gets you a cheese or pepperoni slice for $ 1. A great deal. The employees are friendly and the building is pretty nice. The pizza itself is thin crust and I have no complaints.

Historians have argued for centuries about what the story is behind Da Vinci’s enigmatic Mona Lisa. All arguments aside, the Mona Lisa printed on the front of Pizzeria Da Vinci is easy to figure out. Her almost illusive smile becomes more of a smirk, «Yeah, you’re here for just a cannoli, because Daniel S’s review told you to try them. Sure, that’s all you’re going to get…» As I flip through the menu, it became clear to me that I was going to be leaving with more than just a cannoli, as my resolve of steel melted like the mozzarella on the pizzas being taken out of the oven in front of my very eyes. I closed the menu and Mona Lisa smiled up at my serenely, «Go ahead, order a slice of pizza, it’s delicious. Besides, it’s your duty as a Unilocaler to report back on how the food is… not just the cannolis.» With Mona Lisa having taunted me and then soothed me, I decided to order a slice of pizza with my cannoli. The total came to $ 4.50. I’m not sure whether the cannoli was $ 2.50 or if it was the pizza slice. In any case, you can buy 3 cannolis* for $ 5.95. The pizza was good, the crust was thin and crunchy with just the right sauce to cheese ratio(I have a thing for perfect ratios, as probably evident in my City Pizza review). I did think there was something missing to the pizza but once I topped it with pepper flakes and Parmesan cheese, it was perfect. The cannolO was delicious, it was filled in front of me and it was just large enough to satisfy my sweet craving without making me feel like I was overindulging. Da Vinci has a $ 1 slice student special from 2 – 4 on Mondays and Tuesdays. It makes me almost wish I was back in high school(I never thought I’d say that!). Also, for those of us that aren’t still in high school battling hormones and trying to climb the social hierarchy of «cool», Da Vinci offers some pretty good coupons on their website. *After doing some dictionary research I found out that«cannoli» is the plural of cannolo.

Very tasty thin, almost ‘crackery’, crust pizza. I get a slice here every once in a while. At lunch time they have some tasty slices like baked potato or BBQ chicken or pulled pork that are all very good. Very friendly staff too. Their grinders are very good as well. I highly recommend the buffalo chicken grinder!
