I’ve been to just about all of the tanning salons in the area, and quite a few in other cities and states. Aloha is my favorite. The staff is super friendly, the beds are high-quality with regularly replaced bulbs, the prices are fair and the markup on the lotions they sell is reasonable. I’ve never waited more than a few minutes for a bed to open up, and typically I walk in and don’t have to wait at all. The location in Canton is solid, but I definitely prefer the Avon location. The salon is nicer and the staff is friendlier and more helpful. Oh yeah, and they keep the beds super clean.

Yes! I moved to CT over a year ago and have not been able to find a good tanning salon. Good to me is not too expensive, clean, supplies its own towels(yes this is important to me), and doesn’t spend an hour upon sign up trying to sell you more products, also it’s a plus if the girl there is nice. This is the place! It’s about a 20 minute drive from me which is a bit far but very worth it. The location is great(in this cute strip mall), the store is clean and bright and airy. The machines look new(I’m not an expert so can’t comment on the bulbs and whatnot). The music is fine and the girl there was very nice. I was able to sign up for a package, tan, and go within 20 minutes time mid-day Saturday.

I cannot tell you enough about how this facility, its services, and the staff completely blow all other tanning salons in CT out of the water. Really you have to experience it for yourself to know how great this place is. The staff is great, the owner is super friendly, and even though the equipment they have is higher end so its obviously a little more pricey, they do so many deals and sales to try and accommodate a tighter budget. So far I have only used their Soleil beds and Norvell spray tan booth but I have had wonderful experiences with both of them. I highly recommend this place over any other tanning salon in CT.

I’m from NY but I go to school in Hartford. I’ve actually worked at a tanning salon for about 3 years before I went away to school, so I really evaluated a bunch of places before I committed to one. I used to go to a place on Farmington ave in Hartford but after I heard of Aloha I decided to check it out. I like this place. It has that«happy» feeling when you walk in(maybe it’s the color scheme). Plus it has much more modern beds than the other place I went to on Farmington ave. This place is very clean, too. No dust anywhere. The staff isn’t too knowledgeable. Not many lotions to choose from but their prices are low. Bulk session-packages are nice because I can never commit to an entire month since I don’t have a car on campus and cannot reliably get there on a weekly basis to take the full advantage of a monthly membership. I hate that their hours are so limited. The appointments thing gets on my nerves too. It should really be first come first serve. I mean, they do take walk-ins, but your better off making an appointment because sometimes families will book your favorite bed for 45 minutes straight. There is not a huge selection of tanning salons within the area, so this place will do.
