Lola’s Barber Shop is a great stop for travelers getting off cruise ships in Catalina. Lola does an outstanding job at cutting hair and loves to share his wealth of knowledge of the island. Cheap price for a haircut (15 bucks) and story’s worth millions.

I really enjoyed hearing Lolo’s baseball stories especially Ernie Banks and Maury Wills. Anyone vacationing in Avalon should make an attempt to go in a see all the memorabilia he has. What a great experience.

My 5 year old had his hair cut here this summer and the experience was very memorable for him. Not only was it the best haircut he’d ever had but Lolo had a lasting impression on him. Lolo is great with kids and my son wants to stop in to see him every time we go to Catalina Island. It makes for expensive haircuts but what a great excuse to go!
