Woodforest National Bank Branch 656

My mother-​in-​law just passed away and held her account at Woodforest Bank. She opened her account in Louisville and when she moved to Austin a few years ago we just moved everything to online banking. I randomly selected a branch here in Austin to go find out what I needed to do with her account now that she passed.
The Branch Manager, Phil Macfarlane, was very helpful. I didn’t have all the paperwork with me that I needed, so he walked me through the entire process so I would know what I would need and what to expect. He even followed up with a kind email expressing his condolences and assuring me that he was here to continue to help me through the entire process with the bank.
This is a large bank in many states and because we’ve used the online banking system to take care of paying my mother-​in-​laws bills, I had never met a bank representative before. He reminded me of the personal service that takes place in small, locally owned banks. I would definitely recommend the Woodforest National Bank Branch 656 under the leadership of Phil Macfarlane.
