Only because you have to put a star to rank it, I gave it one star. I ordered online and a week later I still didn’t receive my order after paying $ 12 in shipping for two double rolls. I sent them an email and it was as if I turned on a light at the office because all of a sudden I received UPS tracking number. No acknowledgement of the oversite in shipping or an offer for a refund. When I finally got the order of the so called textured alligator wallpaper, it was this sappy awful print of alligator – a very 1D(not even 2D) design. They should actually offer a description saying this is flat to the touch paper and there is no raised impression of alligator skin. Very disappointed in the the quality. I sent an email and voicemail to inquire about a return/exchange and while I did get a call back same day, they want to charge a 30−35% restocking fee. Well which one is it 30 or 35%? I asked for an exception if I order a replacement and they said no because the paper was listed under«illusion». Well that’s vague, because one knows they’re not ordering real alligator skin, but a vinyl replica in texture in wall paper. Anything short of the real thing IS an illusion. Of course I was sent an email saying I would be charged 35% restocking. Ridiculous. Their only advice was next time order a sample. Well great job for repeat business. Wallpapers to go, sad to say, but you really suck. So I’ll go elsewhere for additional rolls. Bad descriptions, bad(delay) shipping, bad customer service, bad return policy. Ok, 1 star, for good call back, just to tell me to go to hell. Everyone, It really isn’t worth shopping here. Please take your business elsewhere! ps…and I am not going to bother talking about the ability to search their website for what you need – probably lent to choosing something in the«wrong» category, i.e., not what I was looking for. Everyone, just don’t do it. .and to be sure, I am definitely talking about the store in San Antonio, TX.

This place is a hidden gem! We just finished remodeling the downstairs of our home and I was in search of the perfect modern damask wallpaper for our formal dining room. First off, I will say that this place is a bit hard to find(I suggest parking behind the ice skating ring and walking in from the back). Second, the store is very small and the in-stock paper is off-putting. However, the gentleman that works up front is extremely knowledgable and pointed me to the back of the store where you can find a massive library of just about every kind of wallpaper you can dream of! I spent a few minutes going through the contemporary books and ended up «checking out» 6 books to take home in order to make a final decision. I ended up going with an amazing metallic paper from Candice Olson(which btw is very contemporary, so I’m not quite sure which books Shelly H. was looking at?). Once I made my selection, they sent an installer out to give us a free estimate. Jaunita gave us some pricing options, as well as some very helpful advice on how to save some money by placing our new chair rail a few inches higher. She was up front and very experienced in her craft. Most people think of the 80s when they hear the word wallpaper, but let me know just say that there is a plethora of modern options out there. You can expect to pay a lot more than you would with paint, but it’s SO worth it for a custom look. Once everything was finalized, Jaunita showed up bright and early for installation. She works at lighting speed, cleans up and her work is absolutely stunning. I have no words for how beautiful our dining room now looks. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Went in today to look for wallpaper for a bathroom I’m redoing. It was the first time to go in, so I was walking around the showroom. Looked at their in-stock paper(yuck) and then found the next room with hundreds of sample books. It took about 30 minutes for someone to even acknowledge my presence. Four employees walked right by me with saying a word. Finally a lady asked if I needed help and she was very helpful. okay, that’s the service… Then there is the selection. Put it this way, if you are 60 years old and are re-doing the kitchen in your ranch house in Northwest Hills… this place is for you. If you are in your 30s, and want something funky & fresh… go look somewhere else. I gave it a star for massive 80’s selection. 0 stars for everything else.
