Town Nails

Nail salons are tricky: when you find one you like, you may tend to go there and only there. Trying a new place is tricky: unless you know someone that has gone there before and loved it, you may be hesitant to go in blind. And when you do go for your 1^st time, you may run out of there with your cuticles bleeding, or you may be underwhelmed.
THAT WAS NOT THE CASE HERE! Sorry for the caps but I wanted to get your attention. I moved neighborhoods in South Austin last summer, and have been trying to find a new «go-​to» nail salon. My mother-​in-​law kept telling me about Town Nails and I had never heard about it before. So I thought I’d give it a try. I was not dissapointed.
It’s in a very non-​descript strip mall on Manchaca. Not a place you may walk in as an un-​known. But once you walk in, it’s very clean, with a very pleasent atmoshere and good ventilation. The pedi chairs are new and in very good shape. I only got a pedi and manicure, but my mother-​in-​law gets acrylics there, which she loves. We even talked to another woman who regularly got solar nails there and had nothing but great things to say.
I think Town Nails is one of these diamonds in the ruff in South Austin. If you’re looking for a new nail place in this neighborhood, go for it! You won’t be dissapointed.
