I was referred to Pamela from a mutual friend and I’ve got to say… She’s the BEST! I’ve been to many estheticians in my life and no one has come as close as to being as thorough and knowledgeable as her. She makes you feel at ease the moment you lie down. It’s like having your best gal pal chat with you while you get the best facial! If you want results come to Pamela! :)

Pam is the nicest woman, is very knowledgeable, and really cares about her work & her clients… not just out to make a buck.
I got lost on the way to my first appointment and was over 25 minutes late. I was assuming I would have to cancel my appointment and reschedule. But no, she was really nice about it and worked me in anyway. On top of that, she gave me an upgrade to microderm free of charge because that is what my skin really needed.
She is very professional and really knows what she is doing. I’m not sure what Caitlin’s issue was… she responded to my emails and phone calls immediately and was always super friendly. There’s a reason why everyone else has given The Skin Care Experts 5 stars!

First a little history —
Once upon a time… sometime in the 90s (haha)…I got a recommendation to see an esthetician practicing in the Westlake area. I had NEVER had a facial (or other spa treatment for that matter) prior to my first visit with that Westlake skin specialist, and she worked some MAGIC with my skin. In my early 20s, I suffered some pretty serious skin troubles… and I was hoping to find someone that could educate me and help me fend of those troubles. Well, that’s exactly what I found with my first esthetician, and truly it’s probably my fascination with her magic techniques that led me to pursue my own career in esthetics. Sadly, that wonderful woman is no longer with us. They just don’t make estheticians like her anymore…
Or so I thought — until I had a treatment the other day at The Skin Care Experts with Pam! She clearly knows her stuff… and she is one of those especially professional «old school» estheticians with modern techniques and equipment. She assessed my skin (confession: being an esthetician myself –though not revealed to Pam at the time, I always like to see what someone else tells me about my skin), and she was on the money. She recommended microdermabrason (not the gross gritty «sand blasting» kind)…& she used an ultrasonic spatula…& she did probably the most thorough yet gentle extractions I’ve ever experienced. Honestly, my skin hasn’t looked or felt as good as it did after that treatment in a LOOOOOONG time. For me to say that — with all the unbridled access I have to wholesale skin care products, professional treatment products, and professional equipment — is a pretty big deal.
If you are looking for someone to really help you care for your skin — I can’t recommend Pam enough! (Since I am moving to Dallas, I will be mentioning to a few of my own clients that they should see Pam.)
*Also — I purchased a Groupon for use at The Skin Care Experts, and when I called to make an appointment the outgoing message indicated they were experiencing a high volume of calls and offered an email address where I could contact them to request an appointment. I did just that, and I received an email promptly letting me know the first available appointment. I think Pam is a little bit of a «one man show» and takes care of everything herself… I don’t think there’s a receptionist or anything. Nevertheless, I was still able to get on her books and have my treatment with no trouble at all.

I wish I could leave a review based on a facial I got. But I haven’t gotten one. Why? Because this lady has been absolutely frightful to get in touch with. I made an appointment I had to break due to scheduling issues, and after that, was completely ignored by this woman. Normally, I would have just let it go, but I bought a groupon for her company, and really didn’t want to let that money go to waste. After 3 months of trying through to her by email and phone calls, to no avail, I finally called groupon and they were kind enough to refund me. The lack of professionalism shown by this company was incredibly off-​putting. I felt incredibly offended, as I sent many unreturned emails, and quite frankly the one time she did return my phone call, her tone was rude and un-​friendly. I hate leaving negative reviews, but I felt my experience was unacceptable. My point? This was by far the most unprofessional person in the beauty profession I have ever dealt with.

I went to see Pam and was so pleased. She has the most velvet touch and gives you a nice massage after the facial. Her conversation is just right, not too much, not too little. My skin responded great to the facial, the products she used were just what it needed and I got a bunch of info on how to take care of it. I would highly recommend her!

Wow! You have to go see Pam! She takes the time to evaluate your individual needs, and doesn’t just give you a cookie cutter facial. She also has a lot of great machine options to treat different skin conditions. I have acne and am allergic to all the antibiotics that are on the market and Pam has really helped me get on a régime to get my face cleared up!
Oh — and her space is decorated so nicely, you just want to hang around and sip champagne when you’re done!
