Brandy has come all the way from Austin multiple times to help me. We moved into our house about a year ago and I have been at a loss. I love pictures, but had no idea how to place them in my house. Brandy mapped it all out for me. Listening to my taste, the things I love and my personality, she is helping me make my house our home without spending a fortune on new décor. She is simply the best and I can’t wait to see what she will do next!

When I had to move from a large two bedroom into a small… cozy one bedroom apartment, as Brandy called it, I was a wreck. I didn’t want to get rid of anything since I had spent years saving up and buying such amazing furniture, but due to the circumstances I had to make the move. I was left with a couch and lounge chair, a bookshelf, bed and a desk, among other odd-​shaped what-​nots I didn’t know what to do with. With the help of IKEA and the amazing mind of Brandy, she was able to make what little space I had feel like the perfect space. If it wasn’t for her, my cat and I would have made it through this last move. Thank you so much Brandy! I will absolutely be sending people your way.

Brandy is amazing! She’s helped me twice now to fix and organize my closet and also help me decorate my walls. Brandy is very thorough, helpful, professional and really knows how to put a room together. Even after she’s done with each project, she continues to help with tips and ideas for me to keep up my look. I highly recommend Brandy if you want a professional, and tasteful project! Love her work! Oh, and she always makes our projects fun!

If my evil twin was writing this I would give Brandy at The Missing Piece Design a bad review so she would remain the best kept secret in Austin, but alas, my good twin is writing this so I will tell the truth.
I first hired Brandy to help me with some home de-​cluttering and organization. She worked extremely fast and within my budget and timeline. For some of the projects she worked as a turn-​key expert, working while I was out of town (so nice to come back to an organized garage) and for others we worked together (like decluttering my closet). Tasks that I had dreaded became fun! From small tasks to big projects she is always extremely easy to work with, professional, flexible, has great communications skills and her prices are very affordable.
Then she helped me organize my son’s bedroom. It is amazing what she did to that room only with moving existing furniture pieces and as far as I can remember I only purchased 1 chair. The rest she organized and decorating using existing items but the impact was great! The room looked bigger, better put together and organized!
I am currently remodeling my home and Brandy has also started helping me with personal shopping and decorating for this big project. She takes time to understand my vision and has great ideas. She is helping me with everything from bedroom decorating to flooring and wall paint options. She is very good at keeping in touch and will text me photos when she comes across an item that would work with my home. Text back shopping! Could not be easier!
I never thought of myself as someone who would hire a *decorator* or a *personal shopper*. I am not a millionaire or a movie star, but working with Brandy has changed my perspective. I realize that in the long run, I am saving lots of time, money and effort by having her do what she does best, quickly, efficiently and within budget. And we are having fun to boot!

I have used Brandy several times for her personal shopping services and her research capabilities.
I am on a pretty tight budget so she definitely works with me. In particular one project that really impressed me was my headboard project. For several weeks my husband and I were looking for a king size headboard. I finally came to Brandy because I couldn’t find one that was attractive and with in our budget.
She asked me several questions and then gave me a price quote for creating one. I hadn’t even known that was an option. As a back up she also provided several websites that could act as a model for her creation. The icing on the cake was she had a vendor contact that she told me about several days later that could create said headboard quickly and efficiently and beneath my budget.
I guess what I am most impressed about with working with Brandy is how efficient, thorough and resourceful she is. I know the services she offers aren’t ones that I have thought to outsource (especially the personal shopping… although it is a great idea because I hate shopping) but it is affordable and reasonable. Not to mention she is professional and easy to get a long with.
I highly suggest her for all your home and shopping needs.

Brandy is a personal friend, and a great one at that, so it’s always a little scary to ask your friends for help via their business (because what if you don’t like their skills?)
BUT DON’T WORRY, FOLKS! The Missing Piece design is so valuable! Several times, I’ve seen Brandy transform a room just by moving a few key pieces or purchasing an item or two. Most recently, she saved the day by finding me two fixtures (life hacks?) to make the most of the tiny space I live in.
You know, taking a use able space and making it into the space you want for your use? She’s got the gift. Also, she brings all that great friendship stuff into the work relationship: she’s timely, organized, friendly, and kind (I am sure I’ve had her shaking her head over my spatial-​unawareness) and knew just how to work with my limited space and budget.

Brandy was able to book an appointment around my schedule. It was a very efficient experience in the sense that I hate to go shopping and we were in and out in under an hour and a half. More importantly she came in well under budget and I don’t think I’ve ever walked out of a single shopping experience with so many outfit options.
Brandy has a very good sense for the style that works with my body type and I would recommend her to anyone!

When we were ready to expand my massage business, my imagination went wild and I ended up with a storage unit full of random décor and furnishings. I needed to make magic out of all this beautiful mess. That’s when I was referred to Brandy by a friend. I called her and she asked me questions about my business, the look I was going for, my budget, etc. She was very professional and sounded very confident in her ability to get us organized and ready for our Grand Reopening. After an assessment of our current stock, we made a trip to IKEA to round out our look. She was fast and efficient (I think she literally has every single item there memorized) and stayed well within the parameters of my budget. She also helped us re-​organize the floor plan of our reception area to have better flow. It made a huge difference (almost all of our clients have commented on how much they love it.)
I was worried about hiring someone who would impose their style in my office and leave little of the current character intact. We now have an incredibly beautiful space that fits my vision and didn’t break the bank. When I couldn’t wrap my brain around decorating 6 rooms, Brandy could. Such a huge asset for a small business owner with ADHD and a laundry list of other things to worry about.
Bottom line: I will use Brandy for all future design needs, home or office. She’s very communicative, professional and she knows her stuff! Give her a call, you won’t regret it.
