The Great Rug Company

The staff at the Great Rug Company are excellent! We bought all of our rug pads from them. Their prices were very competitive, they carry high quality products, and are knowledgeable about their products (as you would expect from a specialist). For a smallish store, they have a TON of rugs on display. I will definitely come back here when I need to make my next rug purchase.

Nice rugs, but… I went in on a Saturday (they were not that busy). No one ever greeted me or acknowledged my presence although I was there for about 25 minutes. I did find a rug I was interested in, a New Zealand wool, which was beautiful, the right size and a good price. I did have a few questions, however, since no one was interested enough in me to inquire if I needed any help, I decided they didn’t need my business. I left, and will spend my money at another, more helpful, rug store.

We had the Great Rug company install carpet. They were able to install the carpet very quickly. The house is for sale and I wanted everything to look perfect. I needed to call them to come and fix a spot on the carpet. They came right away to fix the carpet with great proficiency. The men are polite, courteous, and work very hard. I would definitely buy carpet from them again. They are fantastic to work with. Thank you very much. :)

The Great Rug Company is… well…Great. I went in earlier in the week on a lunch break and had the pleasure of talking with Becca about our needs for a rug in our new living room. She was knowledgable, friendly, patient, and courteous — everything you would want someone to be when you have no idea what you’re doing! I told her I’d be back with the hubs and we came back on Saturday. The store was definitely much busier on a Sat. but we still received great service from Kara and Brianna. Again, we received patient, courteous and knowledgable service. They took down rugs for us and we settled on two to try out. Put a credit card number on hold for both. A guy (whose name I didn’t catch) rolled them up securely and put them in our car. It was really hot and those things were heavy so he’s pretty awesome for doing that. We drove home, tried them out, kept the one we liked, and took the other one back. Bought a rug pad from them as well. We LOVE our new rug!
All in all it was a great experience and they are the first company I’ll be going back to for future rug purchases. Thanks, Great Rug Company!!!
And as a side note, you can find pretty much anything you need in life on Burnet Road. It is seriously a shopper’s heaven/​mecca. Love it. :)

After visiting 6 other rug stores with a variety of experiences, we were happy to walk into this store. We got the exact type of customer service we wanted. The salespeople were very attentive but gave us our space to look at rugs on our own. They had a variety of options and we found several that we liked. The staff was friendly and allowed us flexibility in allowing us to bring home several rugs to try in the space. We also felt we got an excellent price for our rug. Overall, a really good experience. We also bought a rug pad that was less expensive than what we found online.
