I am a spa-going, downtown-dwelling, professional, and absolutely love TT Nails. They are very fast, always remember your name, you never have to ask them to do your nails at the«same time» as your pedicure because that’s just their preferred style. My manicure is always spot on. My pedicure, well, you’ve just gotta learn to pick a good one for the scrubbing. Pick someone with some muscles, I’ll just leave it at that! This place has a great price point and will rock your day.

They are VERY distracted. I just got my nails done and there were 13 nail technicians there, while maybe 7 clients. The technicians that didn’t have a client were in the back talking, which is totally fine. But the lady that was doing my nails kept leaving mid-manicure to go back and laugh and talk with them. This shows because a few of my nails have uneven«layer» looking places where she started putting a coat on and then left. The lady that did my toes pulled out her phone to text every time she got a text message, which was 15 times throughout the course of the pedicure(that was after it happened often enough for me to start taking count). Color selection doesn’t have a lot of variety but I found one that I liked. Their work was decent, but pretty rushed and didn’t pay much attention to detail. I wanted to love it because it’s in my neighborhood, but I don’t think I’ll be coming back.

There’s a reason Passion Nail has a 30 minute wait and Tarrytown Nail can get you in immediately. My pedicure and manicure were both rushed. She didn’t even attempt to scrub my feet and I haven’t had a pedicure since July! I know they needed a good scrubbing. They rubbed lotion on my feet and legs for 10 minutes, I wouldn’t call that a massage. The technician that painted my nails did a sloppy job. They’ve also raises their prices. I paid $ 42 for a basic manicure and pedicure. There’s no reason to go here. It’s worth waiting somewhere else to get better service!

I’ve been back to Tarrytown Nails many times since my original review, largely because it’s in my neighborhood. It may not be perfect, but I have never gotten a bad manicure here. They’re very efficient, and even when they’re very busy they’re still polite and friendly– they know most of the women who go there there by name. I’ve come to really like this place.

Tarrytown nails has expanded ! No… not in their space. In the number of technicians and seats! It makes for a crowded unpleasant experience. Jenny(my favorite nail tech) went on maternity leave. The girl that took her place is rough and watches the door continually… not your nails, which lead to a lot of cuts. Just wanting that next customer. However, there are no shortages of customers. I, also, felt like I couldn’t breathe in there from the fumes the last couple of visits. If you are looking for a calm, clean environment, check out LV Nails on Burnet. LV Nails will out a nice gel coat topping on, too. Tarrytown will only buff unless you pay an up charge.

They did decent work, I did a manicure and pedicure, but both chipped very quickly. I didn’t have to wait and they were really efficient and fast. They had a different person for both services. Overall, for the price($ 50) for both I won’t be returning because it just didn’t last long enough compared to the numerous other places in Austin.

I really enjoyed my visit here last night. Not only is it clean but the staff is professional, quick, and efficient in their service. My nail tech was T and not only did she give me a nice pedicure but engaged me in conversation which you don’t find too often in nail salons. They don’t have a variety of colors to choose from, so if you are one looking for the latest opi or Essie nail polish they won’t carry it. Otherwise a great experience

Love this place and have been coming here for years. They are conveniently located, super clean and professional, and never have a long wait, if they have a wait at all. They have a lot of pedi chairs and mani stations, so they’re able to keep customers moving without sacrificing the quality of their services. Highly recommend!

Initially found this place due the convenience being located next to downtown. Was thoroughly impressed by the prices and speediness turn around of pedicure. The ladies always do a great job, and very relaxing massage. Would really like to have larger selection of nail colors. But then again, usually bring my own color for this reason. All in all, I love coming here and regularly do after my runs. The ladies will tend to start recognizing you. Place is always VERY clean, super friendly. Never long lines unless some random afternoon, but wait time is never over 30 minutes…

I have been a loyal Holly follower for 10 years. Tarrytown Nails delivers. Mani/Pedi/Eyebrow wax– all worth the price and precision. I always call ahead– not sure on the walk in side. Holly, T and family have a great nail business.

I wanted to update my previous review. I have been back, it is a really convenient location and there is hardly ever a wait so I went back in a pinch. I didn’t get the lady who answers the phone(finally) and it was great. I realize you get what you pay for if I want to be super pampered I need to go to a spa. This place is a great place to go if you don’t have time it can’t afford a pricy spa, it’s clean, wait time is short, and they do a good job.

This is a great neighborhood nail salon. Everyone is nice, no to short wait time and it’s clean. The prices are very reasonable for for this part of town. They do now take credit cards & you can add gratuity to card also.

I always enjoy coming here, have been for the past year. I always ask for Kim, shes very nice and great at what she does. Sometimes I bring in my own nail color since they don’t always have recent ones or a big selection. Its fairly quick and the results are great. I never feel rushed, and Kim always gives me a great massage!

This is not a spa and is not particularly spa-like. It’s a practical and efficient neighborhood spot which is ALWAYS busy. Many customers know each other and it’s a chatty spot. I love that I can get in & out quickly and that they’ll do my nails and toes at the same time. They do not mind scrubbing the heck out of my heels which get so bad in just a few weeks time when wearing sandals and going to the swimming pool. I’ve found them very responsive to feedback. From observing their interactions with other customers I get the idea that they don’t want upset customers. I’ve been going for a year and now they recognize me. If I were to change my mind about a color after the first two nails, I wouldn’t hesitate to let them know. I’ve also discovered that if I ooohh and ahhh a bit about the massage that they do it longer. ha! I do agree that they may not have the latest colors, although I have found some really awesome grays and purples recently. I can always find something appropriate. I really like to just have my fingernails buffed, but the owner recently told me I need to stop doing that for a while because my nails are getting thin. I appreciate her expertise and am following her advice. Right now a regular mani-pedi is $ 42. I typically tip $ 8. They take credit cards and a sign asks for tips in cash. If I have cash I’ll tip in cash, otherwise, I write the tip in on the credit card receipt and they never turn it down.

I love this place. I used to work in the Tarrytown area and would go after work to get manis/pedis. I usually have a pretty busy schedule so I love that they get me in and out so quickly and STILL do a great job. Last time I came in, I only had an hour and needed both done, they had one on my nails and one on my feet. They had me out of there, fresh french pedi and fresh shellac on my nails in 45 minutes. Despite being in Tarrytown, their prices are SO affordable and my shellac always lasts at least 3 weeks!

While my nails and toes do look great, this was the worst experience I’ve had in a long time. The water for the pedicure was not hot, even after I asked to have it hotter. The lady barely massaged my legs, which is my favorite part. She was also rude and short with me, and didn’t massage my arms either. It was convenient and I was done in a very timely manner, but I won’t be going back.

This place has no flavor– None of the latest colors from the Fall drops. Just boring… and thought the staff was kinda rude. It is convenient but will travel further to get better.

Agree with the review below(Whitney H) and wanted to add that the prices are not bad for Tarrytown: Manicure $ 15 Pedicure $ 27

Talk about efficient!!! That is my favorite thing about this place — In, done, out, and on your way! What is also great is that they are not sacrificing quality for speed. They work quickly, but also do a nice and thorough job. I was there during a pretty high traffic time(Saturday, early afternoon) and they had a steady stream of people coming in and signing up on the wait list, but nobody had to wait more than 10 minutes. The spa pedicure was great!(I’m not a big manicure person — prior bad experience elsewhere). They have the massage chairs and did a nice job with the exfoliation and foot scrubbing. They had a nice selection of high quality polish colors and did an expert job on applying the polish. The only drawback is that they only had few extra chairs for a tiny waiting area. So, while you won’t have to wait long, you might have to stand or be crammed into a tiny spot in the corner until it is your turn. Also, they only took cash and check. I don’t think that’s a big issue but just FYI.
