This place is fantastic. It might be small, and it might not be super fancy, but they are extremely welcoming and do a GREATJOB! I have psoriasis. There have been many salons that refuse provide me service, but not the good people of Kelly’s Nails. They know what my condition is and have ALWAYS treated me normal there. For the past 3 years, I’ve enjoyed every encounter there. The salon is ALWAYS extremely clean, and comfortable. I’ll always be a loyal customer to them.

The worst nails ever!!! They were fast, yes! But that’s all! I haven’t seen any disinfection in this place, and the nail… seriously I could do them better on my own!!! Don’t go there!

My favorite place to get a pedicure in Austin. Nope, they aren’t fancy, but they sure are nice and effective and quick. Nowhere else have I been where my nail polish stays on for as long as it does after these pedicures.

I can only report on the pedicures but those are fantastic. They last longer than they should — it’s only because my nails keep growing that I have to go back for the next one. Everyone is very kind, the foot and calf massage that’s a standard part of the service is wonderful, and the price is more than right. It’s an old Austin, funky space but it’s clean and really convenient if you live anywhere near campus. I don’t need a luxurious space — just good service and a good product. If you must have a true spa setting then Kelly Nails probably isn’t for you but if you want a solid product at a fair price, make them a regular part of your life.

Worst… Shellac nails were filled with air bubbles and came off within 4 days. I don’t even thinks she was looking at my when she was painting them. Way too overpriced for what it’s worth.

I’m not a fan of Kelly Nails. I’ve been twice, because it’s walking distance from my apartment. The first time I went they did a poor job, but I thought maybe it was just an «off day». The second time I went, they an even worse job. Cuticles were not trimmed, nails were barely filed, the pedicure basically just involved soaking and nail painting. No trimming, buffing filing or getting rid of dead skin occurred. My fingernails and toes basically looked just like they did before I came in, except for they had paint on them after — and a week later, the paint chipped off. Next time I will drive much further to find a better nail salon.

I’ve been here 5x in the last 2 months for manicures only(note: I get natural nail manicures, never had acrylic nails). Kelly Nails is perfect for students for a few reasons: close to campus, always take walk-in appointments, and CHEAP. That being said, you definitely get what you pay for. On average I’d give my manicures here a B+. Never had bubbles but also not perfect, the French tips never get all the way across the nail, usually starts chipping in 5 days. But it’s also $ 15($ 10 for regular manicure /no French tip) so it’s an A for price. I’ve never gotten a pedicure here, but I can tell you they have old chairs. The whole place is kind of small, you can tell it’s been there for a while. But whatever, it’s clean, the people are nice, the tv is big, and the price is right. If you want the A+ quality, go pay the price for it, elsewhere. But if you want a good job for a cheap price, Kelly Nails is your place.

I really like this place. It is SuperDuper cheap and my pedicures always last for weeks, probably even months if I let it go on that way luckily because it IS so cheap I do not have to. My manicures always last a while too, for manicures. NEVER any bubbles in the paint, which makes me a happy girl. Tarrytown nails used to always leave me with so many bubbles, I would have to go back and insist they re-do my polish. I do NOT like bubbles in my nail polish. The staff have always been really pleasant, I never have to wait, they have great trashy mags to read and I am generally in and out pretty quickly. What is not to like? I thought about giving them 5 stars, but this place is a simple little hidden treasure and I am thinking I kinda want it to stay that way.

My friend recommended that I try this place, and I’m glad I did. I paid $ 38 for a french mani/pedi and a week later, my natural nail manicure still looks great and my toes look good, too. The staff is very friendly and the facility is very clean. No wait, nice price.

For starters, the price was really nice. Only $ 12 for a manicure. And the woman who did my nails gave a GREAT hand/arm massage. It would have been really relaxing if the TV wasn’t playing full-volume right next to me. But in the end, I got what I paid for. My nail polish smudged about 5 minutes after I left. Which was surprising to me since I had my hands in one of those heat dryers for about 7 minutes. And after 2 hrs of buying groceries and toasting bread(in my book, not exactly hard labor), the edges of my nails had chipped as if I was wearing a Wet N’ Wild knockoff. I mean, if I wanted my nails to look like I had painted them while driving, I would have done it myself and saved the 12 bucks.

I have been going to this salon for a while now and I’m always satisfied. For a college student on a budget, it’s a deal. The services are cheap and impressive. I just got my eyebrows done there and they turned out great! I love how I can treat my self to a mani-pedi while doing my laundry at the laundromat next door. The only thing bad about this place is that the inside needs a little sprucing up. It’s like a closet inside. For one of my friends birthdays, a group of girls went for pedicures and champagne and had a blast!

I went to this nail salon for a couple years as a regular, and was impressed by their friendliness, quality of work and pricing, but stopped going because one night, one employee went crazy yelling at another. They were a married couple, and the husband got mad at his wife and yelled at her for a long time while she was doing my nails. He was doing someone’s nails too, and the whole situation was very uncomfortable, and scared me away. I never went back after that. Appointments aren’t necessary, and there is almost never a wait, so show up, and if there are no male employees there, I would recommend staying around.
