Tan Etc

I’ve been coming here for a couple years now, everything is very clean and I never have to wait, the prices are average and they always have lotions that are on sale. Jennifer even saved me my favorite one, Her great customer service is why I still come back!

Been going here for about a year… Jennifer is always smiling… so cheerful AND plays great music!

My husband and I have been members of Tan Etc. for over 5 years and have used different locations, but prefer this one. It is always clean, quick and run efficiently. The staff is very friendly and have always handled any questions or membership changes accurately and quickly.

Great place to tan!!! All the girls that work there are friendly, knowledgeable, and know you by name when you come in! I definitely recommend Tan Etc., especially this location!

Not that badly priced compared to other locations. I am so grateful that they don’t constantly try to up sell me and lie to me trying to convince me that their tanning lotion is some how magically better than the stuff you can buy for less than half the cost elsewhere like every other tanning salon I’ve been to. Oh and the manager of this location is the sweetest girl ever. She has a super positive attitude and always very kind and welcoming. The other workers are nice but I always look forward to seeing her here because she is just so upbeat and nice.

I’ve been using professional tanning salons for ten years, as long as I’ve lived in Austin. I’ve been a member at four different salons. In terms of cleanliness and convenience and price, this is a great salon. Customer service is Ok, not exceptional by any means. I’ve been a member for a year. They aren’t rude or unpleasant, they just aren’t exceptionally friendly, which is disappointing for me. But as far as their salon goes, it meets satisfactory expectations. Clean, well kept, enough parking. Not a problem.

Tan Etc. is by far the best tanning salon their is out there! Not only are the prices great but, you leave there with that perfect tan. No streaks, or that pumpkin orange color you see else where. Their customer service is top notch! Greeted as soon as you come in and when you leave. Jennifer knows all the products their from the prices, to which bed would be right for your desire tan. And if laying down in a bed is out of the question, they also have a stand up tanning options. Any problems with your plan, she will be the one to find a solution. This is a place to come back too, your money is well spent. I give this two thumbs up!!!

This is the first tanning place I have been to in Austin, and I was blown away by this great experience! To start off, I got a little lost. Unilocal makes is location out to be closer towards Kerbey Lane café. However it’s pretty much the first door you see when you turn in off of 183 and Anderson mill. When I called to ask for directions, the lady who answered was extremely helpful and sweet. Going in I had no idea what to expect and was a little apprehensive. However Jennifer, the girl who is at the desk that I spoke to on the phone, was extremely sweet and explained everything in detail to me. After deciding on a plan (which was very well priced) asked Jennifer what her recommendation was, as it has been a very long time since I had last tanned. She recommended a bed level and the amount of time I should do (so as not to burn). When I got into the room I was relieved to hear that there was no timer on when the bed would turn on, rather I got to go at my own pace and just press a button to turn on the bed when I was ready. Overall I had a wonderful experience and will be back often.

I had the best experience at Tan Etc the last time I was in your store. First off the ladies that work there are just a joy to chat with and super helpful, the store was clean and inviting, and to top it all off my favorite radio station was playing when I got in the bed to tan. I had such a wonderful time at your store. Thank you for putting the customer first.

After moving from Florida about a year and a half ago I looked for a tanning salon with good prices, super clean salon and a great staff. I found that a Tan Ect and have not looked anywhere else. I have tanned for several years and the beds and the facility at Tan Ect are as good as any other salons I have used. I would recommend Tan Ect to anyone needing a indoor tanning salon. Give it a try, you will be surprised.

I have been tanning here for almost three years, and absolutely love it! Great prices, and staff is always friendly! I love that I have access to all beds and the spray tanning without have to pay an arm and a leg per month! I love this place (and they have other locations around Austin that I can have access to), and have no plans to go anywhere else! :)

Great price!!! Other salons are $ 40 a month for level one tanning but I pay for the combo pricing at tan ect and I get unlimited tanning (all beds including the premium beds) and unlimited spray tans. Everyone is always nice and everything is always clean. Never had to wait in line even for the premium beds. They are open late which is good for me since I dont’ get home until about 6. 5 stars definitely!
