Worst. Sandwich. Ever. And not the first time. Okay so I LOVE Subway. I even used to work for Subway where I got free sandwiches daily so that says a lot. How hard can it be to get a sandwich right? I won’t say too much except that the last time I was there(and the last time I will ever go) I ordered a veggie and the girl piled on gobs and gobs and GOBS of pickles, banana peppers and MUSTARD. It was basically a mustard sandwich. When I stopped her and asked her to scrape it off, she did so very quickly(because there was a massive line of one behind me) and also scraped out all the yummy veggies with it. She got mustard all over the paper that it gets wrapped in so when I got home, the sandwich still had mustard all over it. It was sticky, messy and even after scraping off the mustard it still basically tasted like bread with some mustard on it as she had effectively cleared many of the veggies from it. It was not recognizable as a Subway sandwich. Prior to that my sandwiches there have been imbalanced and have not tasted right. I really hope that the managers read this and take some time training your staff on how to build a sandwich! I know it’s a cheap job that the kids are just taking to get by, but it’s not difficult to pay attention to how much of each ingredient your adding. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. Or get a piece of bread and wrap it in paper and mustard…

Checked my coupon very well, the sales person checks the coupon and tells me Im good to go, ordered my any type of 6 inch subways deal for $ 6(according to the coupon)., right before I go to pay, this young girls(looking like the person in charge) come to me with an attitude trying to explain to me why the coupon doesn’t work for this type of deal and to tell me that I have to pay $ 11 dollars instead of $ 6. And this post is not about the money, it’s about(them) doing the right job so when you go to pay, not only you avoid confusion, but also you don’t have to put up with a person with an attitude trying to give you BS cuz she knows that they should have told you that at the beginning before making the stupid Sandwich. Terrible customer service! Didn’t give it a 0 star cuz it didn’t give me the option

My wife and I ordered two 6-inch subs and they charged us for a foot-long so it would be cheaper. The lady added extra spinach for me she was nice

I come to this Subway often because it’s the closest to work. I no longer choose to do so after the worker David decided he wanted to cut my sandwich with a dirty knife. I stopped him and politely asked him to use a clean knife and not one with mayo all over it. He tossed the two dirty knives on the counter into the sink, then proceeded to pull another dirty knife from below and cut my sandwich with it. More often than not I have a bad experience here but nothing too bad to where I never want to eat here again. until now. What if I had an egg allergy? …and these people want tips. Earn it then! On another note, all their tables are always dirty. I’ve been sitting here for almost an hour, after I sat down at the least dirty table I could find, watching the workers to see what they would do. Not one has came to check on the tables. So, dirty tables, dirty knives, same gloves from sandwich to sandwich too and don’t let David make your sandwich.

So many bad reviews! I go to this Subway pretty often and I’ve never had any problems. Its close to my work and can get pretty busy during lunch time but I’ve enjoyed my food and the service each time. All the staff welcome me and very helpful. They will go out their way to make something for you if they have ran out. They give better portions on their veggies compare to other stores. There is one girl in there that is my favorite. She is always HAPPY and willing to have a chat with you. Everyone is great in there! They are as speedy as possible and really organized with so many people behind the counter. Never had any problems with any kind of bad food and If an order was messed up, they fix it right away. Maybe they have new management or a supervisor to help things out. I wish the store itself was bigger. Its oddly shaped and when they get busy for the lunch rush the line can go out the door.

Oh Subway… If I could give you a 2 ½ I would. The last 3 times I have been in to this particular subway they ahve been out of pretty much everything that makes my sammy delicious. Basic like spinach, tomatoes, black olives, mayo. and bread. I hope whoever is ordering learns how to order correctly. On ther plus side they know me and what I want.

After reading the older reviews I have to say this subway is just your average one. It’s not as bad as some say; It’s the cheapest place in it’s location, so what do you expect? I go here about 1 – 2 a week and always see only one girl working, but she does a great job. I would say they are under-staffed, because I always see at least 5 – 7 customers at any given time. What’s different about this subway? Their soup selection!

Never had a problem with anyone working here, though some of the people hanging out are a little shifty. The food is always good — it’s a sandwich they make in front of you. The only negative I have is a temporary one(we hope). The Oltorf construction makes getting in here difficult.

Holy cow — I thought I was the only one to notice the sketchy people working here. Ive been going to this subway for the past couple of weeks — Ive become re-addicted after about 5 – 10 years of not eating Subway. Weird. Anyhow — the last time I was in there a neighborhood(78704 yall) crackhead was having a lively discussion with the person making the sandwich. Given how often the Subway employee was scratching her head and twitching — Im guessing meth was the order of the morning. I think I noticed a few missing teeth. Now, I do understand that Subway isnt exactly offering the best-est of salaries, but can you please, for the sake of everyone, hire some people that dont look like the homeless that hang out at the sketchy panties shop next door or the crackheads that hang out at the bus stop? Yeesh. Outside of the scenery — the sandwich was just like all other subway places… pretty hard to fuck up a sandwich when the customer is calling out the order item by item.

it takes a LOT for me to speak badly about a business and its employees… however after my 3rd visit to this location, it is clear that it is run by completely incompetent people who don’t give a damn about customer service. every time i’ve been they’ve been out of one ingredient or another. today it was bread… and not just 1 type of bread… EVERY type of bread. REALLY??? a sandwich shop running out of bread? the girl behind the counter just looked at me like«what do you want me to do about it?» they spend more time talking to each other than taking care of their customers– and they couldn’t move slower without actually standing still. i’ve never seen anyone smile or be pleasant. from now on i’ll spend my money elsewhere.

Second-worst Subway on the planet. I keep coming back because their sandwiches are their sandwiches are their sandwiches, and at least it’s a known quantity, right? Not always. Well, I’m not one to base my reviews on service, typically speaking, but the people are what differentiate one chain restaurant from another, and in this case, they are a team of the utterly incompetent. They don’t know how to kick it up beyond a snail’s pace and they barely know what each sandwich contains, much less how to operate a toaster so it doesn’t singe your bread. And hygiene? Forget about it. I’ve seen them handle money and go right back to sandwich making with the same gloves still on. I’ve seen them cough and sneeze in the food prep area. I’ve seen them use the same knives for multiple meats and non-meat sandwiches(a huge mistake if serving a vegetarian). Still, I come back because my 6″ on Parmesan Oregano(or Italian Herb and Cheese) with pepper jack and«all the veggies except bell peppers»(me: «Yes, I do want jalapeños. No! No bell peppers! Yes, I do want banana peppers. No! No bell peppers!») comes out OK(not soggy or stale) at least half of the time and is quite cheap. And if they’re not busy(aka, I’m the only one in there — two people in line constitute a mental overload for these workers), I can get out in a few minutes, sometimes. For those times when you cannot drive outside the area and want something ostensibly healthier than the Mickey D’s down the street, it’s an OK option.

It’s not that I don’t like the food… I love Subway ever since they started toasting their sandwiches and let’s not start with the $ 5 footlong… amazing. My problem with this location is the people that work there at night. I have confirmation from 3 other people of the same issue. The employees look and act like ex or current drug users. They’re always in a hurry and make the sandwiches like the were the ones paying for the meat. I’m all for helping people that are down and out, but I can’t stand having all the meat and veggies on one side of my sandwich. Keep an eye on these sandwich artists kids.

subway is like any other fast food joint. they are so much alike that it is useless trying to review them unless… they suck. and this one for me sucks. i have been here about 7 times and 5 out of seven they ran out of ingredients. the first time was really unacceptable. it was two hours till close and they ran out of my bread! i usually get the honey oat. but no honey oat today. so i went with wheat. but no wheat also. so i left. next time they had no lettuce. come on its a sandwich place and you dont have any lettuce?! one time they had it all but no mayo or any other dressing! this can go on and on. if you eat there and its great for you, then more POWER2 u! but watch out because one day. they wont have your meatballs… or olives… or bread… hell they never have a smile.

I agree with Pete P., this subway stands out amongst the rest. If I need food fast, I avoid the burgers and drift towards subway to stay somewhat healthy. Therefore, I have sampled many of the various stores and they do vary. However, this locations stands out as it is one of the cleanest. Also, The staff is attentive, pleasant and hard working. They get quite a rush during the lunch hour, but despite that, the line moves at a quick clip and all the while the staff maintains their good attitude.

I was in a rush, and I didn’t want to spend much money. I got a 6″ roast beef on OATWHEAT toasted with pepper jack cheese, cucumbers, lettuce, tomatoes, olives, pickles, and banana peppers. Cost? $ 2.70. Life changing, no. Real value on whole wheat bread? Yes.
