Melanie is absolutely magical! She has done my drag face numerous times. AND my wigs! :) She has had me green for Wicked, white as a mime, and most popular, Celine Dion! Every time she has made me over I get compliment after compliment after compliment after compliment! I am so blessed to have her in my life. I can not say enough about her! :) She is absolutely fabulous!

Ms. Steele has made me look more beautiful than I deserved on many occasions and in many an opera. I trust her with my face and my hair… speaking of which, I will soon be hiring her to make me some gorgeous fake hair to make me look even more glamorous. She’s the real deal that Melanie Steele.

Melanie is an amazing makeup and wig artist. I’ve worked with her on numerous occasions in various opera productions. Last summer she designed and shipped me two gorgeous wigs with something like a four day turn-​around when the company I was singing with had an emergency. I also hired her to give classes on wigs and makeup for the opera workshop I teach.
Melanie is delightful, professional, skilled, knowledgeable, and creative. She’s the first person I go to if I need to look especially glam for a special occasion or concert. I told Melanie I wanted to do something way out of character for me for Halloween, so no one would even know it was me. Holy cow! She did an awesome make up and wig job! My own husband didn’t recognize me! :)
