I went to see Heather Murphy a couple weeks ago with photo in hand. I found a style I loved and was hoping she could create a similar style for me. This is my 4th visit to Heather. This experience was no different then the previous. I loved my hair! She listens to what I want and offers suggestions and the end result has always been really great! Heather is extremely professional, very reasonable and always takes as much time as needed to do the job right. I will never go anywhere else! She’s also conveniently located in south Austin.

I am from Dallas living in Austin, and used to always go back to Dallas to get my highlights done because I trusted a stylist there. I was recommended to Heather Murphy for highlights and I love the work she does. She is better than my stylist in Dallas! Aside from her highlighting and haircutting skills, she is a such pleasure to be around. I recommend her salon to anyone looking for reasonably priced, quality highlights.

if you are looking for a hair stylist in South Austin, this is it! I’ve been driving to North Austin, but needed someone closer to where I live now, so gave this salon a try. Just got color and a cut! Heather is very good at both! She understood what I wanted and gave great suggestions. My husband who usually doesn’t even notice when I get my hair done met me for lunch after my cut and couldn’t quit talking about how great it looked! My adult daughter said she loves the cut and color (low and high lights!) Also, really like the bright cheerful and private space that is Hair & Soul Salon! Not to mention a parking lot, so easy to park. And her prices are very reasonable.
